Messing around with it a bit. I like colors to help me identify things quickly at a glance. Got creative with the Powerboost text to isolate the header info too. Super creative use of a black data point to create the text box btw!

@turbopilot you really did do a lot of work on this! Thanks for offering up your findings and your hard work for everyone. Looking forward to monitoring this.

Hmm, yes I'd love to help! But I'm not confident in this software... I can't get @Snakebitten 's dashboards to import at all. I just exported my dashboards and renamed to.pdf (you'll have to rename the file to .stg again). Let me know if this doesn't work and I can maybe try one or two more things.

FYI I have an extra page where I've been fiddling with some battery readouts. This is what I've got for at-a-glance hybrid battery gauges:

Anyone know the difference between my Hybrid Battery Current PID and the 280V Bat Amps PID from @turbopilot 's dashboard? You can see on my gauges that the 280V Bat Amps is about double, and that's typically the case as I have been watching it. My Hybrid Battery Current PID aligns with traction motor use, and I'm not sure anything else would use this much. I'm wondering why they're off by a factor of 2

Ah ok, that makes sense then, thanks.

Also is anyone aware of a PID that shows mechanical brakes %, or something similar? It would be nice to know when, say, adaptive cruise is applying them for traffic (vs just regen), or when going down long declines.

Is anyone having any issues after updating to ios 18 or getting a iPhone 16? I upgraded and am trying to use version 1.4 as I have for the last year. All I am getting updates on from the truck is "torque" and "HV Bat Amps"

There are so many things that can "break" an existing gauge's connection to the PID that it was previously "mapped" to. But even worse case scenario, it usually only requires you to re-point/re-map the gauge to the PID that you desire.

Of course that would require some previous knowledge of what PID was in use. Otherwise you have to do some detective work and find it.

On the dashboards that I uploaded to this forum, I'm pretty sure every PID was in the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury package. 2022 Ford specifically. And Android platform/version.

Also note that the app itself recently went through a major revision and that by itself broke the mapping on my devices.

Also there can be mapping discrepancies between Apple version of the app and Android. Ford relabeled many PIDs in model year 2023, so the imported mapping wouldn't be a match.

I'm pretty sure I also published the mapping of each PID, but I don't know if that's exactly accurate now after the revision of the app.

I'll repost an export this evening, along with the PID mapping.

Start by manually "mapping" one gauge successfully. And then do the same for each one.
Believe me, the real work was customizing the Style, Size, and placement of each gauge. The mapping to the PID is still light work, comparatively.

I'll give you a hint for one of the gauges on the dashboard you are using. Let's do the gauge labeled "14 V Bat" (lower left hand corner)

Press and hold gauge until menu pops up. And choose "Display Configuration"

You'll get this tool. Note that you probably will have something listed differently for the PID)

Select with your finger the red circled area above. You will be presented with something like:

Chose Ford/Lincoln/Mercury

You'll get :

Ford F-150 PowerBoost 1.5 - We Need More Than Idiot Lights Screenshot_20240923_104847

Chose Battery Control Module

You'll get all the PIDs available for that module and you are looking for "Battery Voltage"

You have now mapped that gauge to that specific PID

Working on PowerBoost 2.0. I have found some issues trying to get OBDLink App to work on the new iPhone 16. This new version is using the Ford 2023 Enhanced PID's with my 2023 PB. Some of the new PID's work while others do not. One new set of PID's involve data coming from the front mounted radar antenna. See PID at the bottom of the screen. Also I think I have identified PIDS associated with ProPower OnBoard. Stay tuned.

Searching and testing PID's is a real Easter Egg hunt.

I did find the amps and volt output numbers for both the A and B circuits of ProPower Onboard 7.2 kW version in the 2023 PID's. Put it all in one page of the app. Still thinking about formatting. I really don't like flipping pages while driving. Everything on one screen avoids that. So all the gauges associated with the 4 electrical systems are now showing.

I use PPoB on the move supplying power to my Airstream running AC units and making hot water. So watching the power demand of the trailer is very useful.

Current mistake.

Now I'm getting jealous not being able to get 2023 PIDs to work with a 2022.
You can go backwards, but not skip ahead. :(

Many new modules exposed with supported PID's in 2023. For instance, the "Direct Current/Alternating Current Module A" module showed up in the 2023 Ford Enhanced PID's. I guess this controls the PPoB inverter. That is were I got the PPoB parameters.

The other issue I am having is that something is broken in the iPhone 16 Bluetooth OBDLink MX+ connection. I have been getting erratic BlueTooth performance.

And many of the radar variables are now present in the "Cruise Control Module".
