So you did have the MX+
The "+" allows 1 free enhanced package since you really pre-paid for it.

But I could swear that with the previous version of the app, you could download more than 1 year model of the same make.

I just looked:

I got the Ford for Free with the MX+

(I purchased the Mazda a couple of years ago afterwards)

So I looked and I had both 2022 & 2023. So I clicked 2021 and got this screen

Clicked "Get" and...

So at least on Android you can get multiple years for a single purchase of a make.

The MX+ has allowed me to add 4 different Ford vehicles, without asking for subscription. ?‍♂

Android here too with MX+ and I seem to be able to get different year f150s for no cost. I've already done 2021 and 2022 (a couple of times, apparently) with no issues. Weird, wonder if it's an apple thing?

Hi all - looking for some help here if there is something obvious I'm doing wrong... I have a MY 2021 truck, and I have tried 2021 and 2022 PID libraries with TP's original 1.5 dashboard. 2021 PID's have way more non-functional gauges (as expected); 2022 are better but still not all working. What's odd is that my readouts just don't update, they're stuck at zero - they're not reverting to the mph PID as I expected them to. They appear to be pointing in the correct location when I go into the edit menu.

Anything obvious? Is this just a simple nuke it and start over situation? I admit I need to read through the whole thread again, this may be answered already. Thanks if you care to offer some help, otherwise I'll update when I get it working.

Anyone know grill shutter and electric fan PIDs for OBDLink ?? No readings from default electric fan PIDs.

I still cannot get this working after several reinstalls. I feel like I'm going backwards though - I used to have all modules show up when going into the edit display configuration for a gauge... Now for the last couple installs I only get a small handful of them whether I'm connected to the vehicle or not. Also it seems to be keeping some settings despite uninstalling and reinstalling... Does anyone know how to wipe everything and all related saved data?

Ok, getting somewhere albeit slowly. I found OBD Link was getting backed up to my Google Drive, so every time I would reinstall, it would impose all my old broken settings every time!

The key is to NOT uninstall, but rather go to your app info in settings, then click on storage, and from there you can delete the app cache and stored data. After this I was finally able to start making progress.

Finally I was able to load my vehicle info from scratch again, and it proceeded to find 3000+ PIDs. Ran out of time at lunch tho so I'll have to keep playing with it later. Glad to have finally made some progress though!

Take your time.
You'll figure this out.

I think the worst case scenario for importing someone else's dashboard(s) is that the app can fail at mapping each gauge to the corresponding PID. Still, the hardest work was the gauge style customizing, as well as the layout.

You'd just have to be patient and manually map each gauge to the appropriate PID on your device.

I'm cool with this... It's just that they're already mapped correctly (well they were at one point) but they were just returning a value of zero. Curious... This app is far from perfect though, so more playtime ahead :)

Messing around with it a bit. I like colors to help me identify things quickly at a glance. Got creative with the Powerboost text to isolate the header info too. Super creative use of a black data point to create the text box btw!

@turbopilot you really did do a lot of work on this! Thanks for offering up your findings and your hard work for everyone. Looking forward to monitoring this.

Hey @Snakebitten how did you make this positive/negative amps gauge with green/red on it? I'm trying to make a dashboard specifically for the hybrid battery monitoring and I like how you have this one configured. I don't know how to make it 2 tone like that though.

Old version of my dashboard.
But in the Style tool, I think it's all about the "Range" properties. And I think you would have more than 1 range if you want more than one set of range properties.

Just create a practice dashboard
Add a radial gauge.
Go play around in the Style tools.

Warning, it can be addictive. For those who caught the disease, some are now exposed on these threads. Lol
