I can't say with 100% confidence that there will never be any dependency on the PCM being updated that may prevent future updates, but I can tell you that right now, it does not matter.

Ok. I need to update my on FDRS and message you about borrowing cable when I am ready. Another question though. I know I did receive and ORA for battery management on Aug 23 but it doesn’t show on the list. Do you know why? I never received Ford Pass notifications on the ones you show as completed.

Sorry for jumping in the middle of the convo here, I haven't been active for a bit, did something change with BCM updates requiring another login beyond the typical FDRS license or is this for a specific update/procedure?

Also, can you please check my truck for any pending updates? I should be pretty up to date but I keep seeing the icon for an OTA update come up on my truck but no details when I go to look and the most recent update notes keep saying the last update was the BCM which I got in June sometime.

Yes a few months ago, FDRS started asking for NFTSA credentials for non-dealer FDRS users to be able to update the BCM. Nobody is sure why.
