Yes a few months ago, FDRS started asking for NFTSA credentials for non-dealer FDRS users to be able to update the BCM. Nobody is sure why.

Without FDRS, there's nothing you can do but wait for it to be resent.

Is your truck a Tremor or Raptor? Those trucks are not getting the newer version of the IPMA released to them. Your IPMA is not at the latest version.

Something is not right. When I try to pull codes, it says is has not reported anything to the cloud since 7/9. However, the truck got an APIM update two weeks ago, and PTS shows the vehicle reported all it modules back to the mothership on 8/20.


Never seen this before. Not sure what's going on. I would recommend he get FORScan and pull the codes off the truck that way.

If your FDRS install hasn't been cleared since you installed it, the files are here
C:\ProgramData\Ford Motor Company\FDRS\fdrs\data\vehicle_software

Forscan can use those w/ firmware write to install it.

I had to wipe my laptop a few months ago, so for sure I don't have them. Also, if something goes wrong, I can't help him fix it. I'm down to f*ck around and find out on my own truck because I know with FDRS, I can fix anything that I mess up. However, I am hesitant to put someone else in a position where they can mess something up and not being able to help them fix it.
