Well after reading so many forums of people having issues with their PB the day finally came for mine. I bought a ‘23 f150 PB lariat earlier this year and put about 3200km on it but after a pretty flawless couple months I went to start it today with no response. I heard people having SSN messages before but I wasn’t getting any messages at all but that’s because the screens wouldn’t even turn on. I attempted everything I read to do with no luck and was only ever greeted with a rapidly blinking light on the start up button. Ended up getting it towed to the dealership so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it’s easily dealt with. Regardless I think I am going to get a code reader just so I can understand what may be happening if this, hopefully not, happens again in the future.

Did anything at all work when you got to it? I once went to mine, the doors wouldn't even unlock. That's when I learned there's a actual key in the fob. Anyway, the battery, when hooked up was at 2 volts. I tried jumping, and charging which didn't work. It stayed at 2 regardless of what i did. After I unhooked the battery, it went back to 12v. I had already purchased a new battery. That was a few months ago
The original battery still is good. I guess it was stuck in some type of loop. I'm getting ready to go on a 3 month vacation..... guess I'm going to bring my tools with me.

My 2023 powerboost did it some many times I traded it back to the dealer. The dealer doesn't know how to fix them. I don't even ford knows how to fix them . A piece of crap.

Sounds like we’ve had similar experiences. I didn’t get a new battery just yet but if Ford comes back and says it’s a voltage issue with the batteries then I’ll probably have a backup on longer trips just in case. I don’t know if anyone has any other recommendations though. Sucks that this issue is still occurring after being in production for so long and it definitely makes me question buying the truck in the first place.

I don't think I would need a back up battery. As soon as it was disconnected, it was ok.
Although, I am going to be towing a travel trailer, which has a 12v battery that I could use if needed I suppose.

Well after getting it supposedly ‘fixed’ at the dealership a month ago, the same issue happened again. We really aren’t sure what to do with this truck as now we’re out of town and were suppose to head home today. I don’t know if anyone has any particular recommendations we could look into but we certainly don’t trust the truck anymore. Has anyone done a buy back program in Canada? Does Ford Canada even do such a thing? Completely heartbroken

What was the fix?
Apparently a ‘software update’ but couldn’t explain the original cause as there were a bunch of codes that were showing. Hoping this other dealership can point us in a better direction.

Could be 12v issue. The SSN / no start was patched out. Did you try starting from fordpass?

We tried to but it was saying the truck was already on when I opened the app and said failed after attempting to start it over the app. If it is a 12v issue would switching out the aux battery potentially solve it? I feel like I’m pulling out my hair trying to figure this out

Try connecting a jump pack to it and see if that makes it happy.

We tried with ours and the tows with no luck. It sounded like it wanted to do something but nothing to back it up. Just annoying. Has anyone had any luck changing out their 12v battery pack and recommend any in particular?
