I'm more about trailer lights and PPOB controls.

Yes, the PPOB screen is tremendous loss in functionality. I'd really like to see all of the 4.x functionality returned, but Ford seems more concerned about the 10, 000 people they sold EV's to and not 4 years of gen 14 owners now totaling almost 2 million. They've really F'ed their most loyal customers with this. Don't they realize where there bread is buttered?

Hey, I want my FordPass Bluetooth enhanced features back on the Powerboost something fierce. I lost those long before Version 5 came along.

But Ford has sold 10,000 EV's just in the last few weeks.
And if it makes you feel any better, those EV forum members are just as t'd off about V5 as the trucksters. ?

Maybe more, actually. They're certainly a more miserable bunch than over here.

They could do an update to restore all the removed Bluetooth functionality and all the forums would be happy.

I can see some future features being tied into whatever software is in the vehicles. That would leave us behind as they push the latest and greatest to the EV side.

Yes, so did 5.0.0. 0.1, and 0.2 but, I'm waiting for them to add back the ability to add your own records as you could in 4.x.x

Yup. Mine also shows all previous records but yeah I want to be able to add my own oil changes like in the old version.

Current Google Play Store review score 6/22 at 3.6/5 stars. It was 4.1/5 prior to v5 launch.

Still multiple responses from support to reviews on adding service records yesterday indicating that the feature will return to app.


This is first time I've seen zone lighting mentioned by support when there have been multiple complaints about it in other reviews.

We may just be waiting out future features coming but I know all of us would have preferred them getting this all working before v5 launch. Feels like the mass users are the beta testers but this is typical of modern software development.

The range display is totally useless. Just got back from a camping trip towing my TT and Ford Crapp says I have 250 mi. range. That’s at 9.5 mpg. while towing. Now that the TT is disconnected my mpg. is more like 20. I know my full 36 gal. tank has more range than that. Sure would be nice to get off of this electric golf cart mentality for the majority of ICE vehicles. The gas gauge was much more functional.

The range is calculated off of X many miles, etc. so it will take time for it to creep back up.

If you notice it now says “Slide to turn on vehicle”. more EV nonsense. my tuck STARTS. it doesnt turn on like a Samsung TV. just more subtle EV training so we will walk like sheep to the EV side.

Slide is a method of protecting against unintended interface command.
