I live in DFW. I bought this F150 from their Mineola lot cause DFW dealers would only sell at MSRP (or higher) in 2022. I had bought a previous F150 from them too.

From my past experience, I will use a heat gun on low then peel the decals and any emblems off. I have had great success using a bit of gasoline on a rag to quickly clean off any remaining residue. Old school and probably frowned upon today. So when I take delivery in the next few days I will pick up one of the many bio degradable and environmentally friendly goop removers.

@ThumperF150 And you will quickly realize they don't work and go back to the gasoline, lol. Don't worry, we won't tell anyone :lipssealed:

I'd tell the dealer that unless he wants to pay you a monthly fee to advertise for him, he needs to remove those ugly emblems, and make sure he doesn't harm the paint. I tell every dealer to no put anything on my trucks before I pick them up.

I would take it back to the dealer and have the bodyshop remove them. When I purchased my truck, I put in the sales contract to have all stickers/decals removed and a few other items taken care of. I believe they removed them for free. Same goes for when I had line-x installed - no stickers or emblems or they were going to be removing before I paid.

I believe if you want to advertise on my truck, you're gonna pay me. No free lunch here.

Every vehicle I purchased, one condition was absolutely no dealer emblem or license plate frame with their name/logo.

I took off my Tremor stickers. Just parked the truck in the hot sun for a bit, and both peeled off just using my finger nails. Depending how old your truck is, there might be a little shadowing..but this should go away with a bit of time, unless it really bad.

A hair dryer and an old credit card is all that you need to remove those stickers. If you use a heat gun be careful about getting it too hot.

Same here but I throw them a bone and let the license plate frame be put on. Only lasts for the drive home then tossed in garbage. :)

I used a 3M decal eraser on my then new 2013 Ram to remove the adhesive foam from all the emblems. It was a black truck and the eraser wheel had no effect on the paint....been using the same wheel ever since.

I will say when I pick up my truck from Granger I'll be happy to have a license plate frame from them.. heck I'll even buy it.
