Assuming you did this, did the paint look fine underneath once it was removed? You didn't need to apply anything to make it match and shine?The dealer emblems use heat then pry off with plastic pry tool or fishing wire. then with whatever is left use the 3m eraser wheel.
any decals like the 4x4 use 3m eraser wheel.

I would take it back to the dealer and have the bodyshop remove them. When I purchased my truck, I put in the sales contract to have all stickers/decals removed and a few other items taken care of. I believe they removed them for free. Same goes for when I had line-x installed - no stickers or emblems or they were going to be removing before I paid.I want to remove the dealer emblem from my tailgate w/o harming the paint. Can someone tell be the safest and best way? I also might remove the 4x4 decals on each side of the bed. Thanks.![]()
