Some folks got results from clearing cache?

Locations is instantaneous on both of my phones for both vehicles. But I am Android and AT&T. Could be anything related to connectivity and Google maps.

Why did you eliminate oil life, tire pressure and zone lighting? All 3 of these are what I used, so your new update just got rid of what I used.

Oil life and tire pressure are still there on iOS too.

Zone lighting is missing and so is trailer light check. I can’t figure out dark mode either. ?

No zone lighting, but oil life, tires, and mileage, along with alerts are still there.

I see you're a fellow 2psi more in the front guy as well?. Oil life at 48, and just over 25k. Gotta be oil change time, or it's just been done.

No matter what portion of the vast conjecture of this thread turns out to be accurate, there's no reason anyone should believe that day 1 of V5 is some kind of finished product.

No different than the Job1 2021 F150 Sync4 was a finished product.

Very true, but they sure went ass backwards with this version. May as well not even have it at this version, its pretty worthless.

Yeah, the new update really sucks now. No zone lighting, no owner manual(I can't look up anything while I'm at work if I need), no trailer light check, no fuel level, no generator monitoring, I can no longer view my extended warranty. But, great, I no longer have to hold down my finger for 3 seconds to unlock,yay. Y'all really know how to screw things up. There was nothing wrong with it in the first place.

I went to use the trailer light check Friday morning and poof its gone. Had to jump in the truck and look for it on the dash, great idea ford. And I just used a flashlight at night since zone lighting is gone and I dont want to hop in the truck twice to turn it on/off.

If it's working properly for you, you should be able to leave location and come back to it and it refresh rapidly automatically.
This platform no longer requires a tug-down or swipe to request a refresh. It's auto refresh.

You know me from way back. I change oil frequently and don't even use the monitor. Rarely reset it too. (I forget to) So there's no corelation to the app value and the last or next change.

If I remember to reset mine it's usually at around 50% at 5k. I just threw perfectly good oil away today with only 4600mi on it. Oil life 52%. Even mixed some oil on the refill. Think we could derail this thread by turning it into an oil thread? ?
