Consider yourself lucky to have road noise problems. My truck sat for 15 months until the defective wiper motor could be replaced. I have had two batteries fail thanks to deep discharges that the Ford battery management system seems to cause.

I have had to cancel 3 vacation trips with my truck and now thinking about trading it in on a Ram 1500 or a Toyota Tundra.
I don't understand why the wiper motor caused your truck to sit for 15 months. I have a MY22 PB also. Within 2 months of the recall, I took my pickup in for an oil change and had the wiper motor replaced. Everything done in less than 1 day.

King Ranch though, they add extra isolation between panels and insulation too. XL and XLT don’t get that treatment. My STX interior rattles and creaks going over big bumps for sure.

I don’t complain about it though, for a basic truck it’s plush enough. Ford did soft touch stitched vinyl on arm wrests and center console, which is much nicer looking/feeling than an equivalent Ram or Chevy (Warlock or Custom) with their hard plastic.
My '22 KR has lots of rattles including one especially loud and irritating one in the back seat that is a mystery.

Great truck but I hate the technology that all vehicles have for long term ownership
An extended warranty is cheap insurance considering everything that could and probably will go wrong.

So, I want to add a couple nags to my list... after almost month of driving it, I find the seat belt annoying because it keeps tightening and tends to ride higher from hip level to stomach level as you drive. So I'm constantly pulling it back down. This may be a super cab thing since the belt is in the door, but on a trip it would be super annoying. There is no height adjustment for the seat in a STX so that's not an option.
Second, and discussed in another thread, is the AC turning on by itself. This is a manual AC truck and I can't imagine why it does this. It may be due to humidity but why? Trucks sit in insane humidity all the time in FL and TX. If I want to drive with outside air and no AC it shouldn't override that. Very annoying since if it's 70 and it turns on the AC, it get crazy cold and I literally have to turn it to heat on the temp knob. Then it shuts the compressor off and I have to turn it back to cold. Hard to imagine it is a feature since it is so idiotic. I wonder if there is a way to turn off this "feature" in Forscan or if the dealer can turn it off.
I've almost trained myself to turn off the auto start/stop every time I get in it- another "feature" that no one likes or wants.
On the positive side, I'm averaging 22 mpg which is great for a full size truck and about what my Frontier got.

... has only the slightest rattle in the front passenger seat if it's empty ...
If by chance you ever solve this, please post how. Mine does the exact same thing. If I firmly hold the seat while driving, the noise stops, but continues again when I let go.

I promise.
IF I ever do anything about it.
But I should warn you that I can and have said "Alexa, play Fatman in the bathtub", and the rattle went away.

20k miles on my 22’ lariat PB. Lots of off-road miles. No rattles or squeaks except for one tiny one that sounds like a flea tapping a paper clip against plastic that just started. Coming from driver side rear door area. Oh well. Happy with the build
I had one like that last week, ended up being the seat cover clips popped off. pretty quick and easy fix.

My 22' XLT will get some rattles but that's mainly when I'm mobbing down some torn up streets in downtown Cleveland on my way to work. Everything else its pretty damn quiet. I did do the little fix for the little interior panel above the door panel and that pretty much cleaned it all up.

There is a setting in Android Auto on the phone that may address this, however I haven't confirmed personally.

I've tried them all and the only way I can get it to not start is to turn the app off on my phone. Not sure why you can't just open the app and turn it on as needed but there isn't even an AA icon on my phone. I have to go to settings>apps>all apps to even find it. It's googles fault I think since it really isn't implemented very well.

They got rid of AA actually having an app a year or so ago. Now its imbedded into most devices OS. and i agree its annoying when you are trying to change a setting.

Try this once instead....

In Sync4, go to "Phone List"

Pick the phone in question and if AA feature is highlighted, click it to un-highlight it.

It definitely stops AA, and there's a chance it will respect this choice the next time you get in the truck?

After having it about 3 weeks now, a few observations. The cons-

1) It is a rattle trap. I had to shim panels in 5 places to get rid of the most obnoxious rattles. There is no excuse for this in a new vehicle. See pics.
2) I thought my Nissan had the worst/cheapest backup camera made but this one is worse- all washed out and fuzzy.
3) Android Auto works well if you want to let it pick what it thinks you want to see. I turned it off since it was constantly on maps and draining the phone battery and you can't choose what you want on the screen.
4) Hard to get used to a key after 3 cars/trucks with push button start. The cheapest base cars have PB start now but Ford thinks it's some sort of super high end feature.

The pros-
1) It rides and drives nice. It has the 20in wheels on the STX package so that may help but no complaints other than I may add a rear sway bar.
2) The 2.7 EB is a great engine. Plenty of power and averaging 21 mpg so far.
3) The trans in this truck is pretty decent- not as good as the ZF 8 speed in a Ram but almost infinitely better than the 10 sp in my 18 F150.
3) The seats are good and this truck has the console which makes it feel like a totally different truck than one with the fold down seat/armrest.
4) Ford Pass is a mixed bag but considering its free, a nice feature it you want to remote start your truck, etc.
5) Huge discounts and rebates and 1.9% financing made the truck a deal. The con is that when you have to put 14K of discounts on the hood of a truck, you have a problem and resale will reflect that. But, that may work itself out after they finally get rid of all the leftover 23's.

Generally pretty happy with the truck except for all the rattles which can really drive you crazy.
