King Ranch though, they add extra isolation between panels and insulation too. XL and XLT don’t get that treatment. My STX interior rattles and creaks going over big bumps for sure.

I don’t complain about it though, for a basic truck it’s plush enough. Ford did soft touch stitched vinyl on arm wrests and center console, which is much nicer looking/feeling than an equivalent Ram or Chevy (Warlock or Custom) with their hard plastic.
I dunno, my Platinum seems to rattle just fine.

Sync4 even reads emails (primary account)
I can monitor sender and subject and know whether I need to pull over and address an issue.
I'm not 100% no-Android Auto. But I rarely use it.
Yep, if I go on a trip, I will turn it back on. It is useful at times.

21 XLT, 41k on the clock. Jan ‘21 build
Pretty quiet
Passenger seat make a tiny rattle on bumps.
No wind roar with windows up
Clamshell doors on driver side occasionally make a noise on a jolt.
(Was a concern before I even bought it)
This all being mentioned, I do not believe time will prove this to be a more solid pickup over my 98 K1500 that is rattle and squeak free after 230k and 26 yrs ( and a cheap ass Cheyenne to boot).
That old Chevy even rides nicer, but is not nearly as responsive as the Ford.
I can even leave the Chevy out back for 3 months and not be concerned about it starting up when I need it.

That being said, misgivings at all about the build quality of the f150.

Soon to be a yr. and not quite 5K miles. No squeaks or rattles but it hasn't seen much in the way of gravel roads yet (it will).

I suspect something may be wrong with your camera. I just did a post yesterday, comparing the one in my truck vs a loaded Denali.

Love hate relationship with Android Auto. I HATE that it comes on as default, with equal hate for the suggested addresses that I can't seem to clear out. They should make it so you can disappear that. But none of that is Ford's fault and often use the on board nav, when needed. OTOH, I think AA does some things better. It has rerouted me around traffic a few times, warned of speed traps etc. Thats pretty handy as is the full integration with the phone, including voice assistant.

Other than minor battery issues, that seem to be fixed (1.5 months so far) by no more than giving the batt a direct, full charge and resetting the BMS, I'd have no real complaints.

Smooth, comfortable, quiet, powerful, great mileage for the size.

20k miles on my 22’ lariat PB. Lots of off-road miles. No rattles or squeaks except for one tiny one that sounds like a flea tapping a paper clip against plastic that just started. Coming from driver side rear door area. Oh well. Happy with the build

To date, I don't have any rattles in my truck. I guess I may not hear well enough to hear them. I have a MY22 Screw XLT 4x4, Power Boost, with 25K miles on it. Worst thing about it are the OEM shocks. They are too soft. One day I'm going to replacement them with Bilsteins.

I'm surprised to hear of the persistent rattle. My '23 XLT is akin to a Lexus. No rattles, no notable panel gaps and it's whisper quiet rolling down the road with the stock tires. My previous 21 xlt had a single rattle by the passenger side a pillar. But not enough to complain about.

After having it about 3 weeks now, a few observations. The cons-

1) It is a rattle trap. I had to shim panels in 5 places to get rid of the most obnoxious rattles. There is no excuse for this in a new vehicle. See pics.
2) I thought my Nissan had the worst/cheapest backup camera made but this one is worse- all washed out and fuzzy.
3) Android Auto works well if you want to let it pick what it thinks you want to see. I turned it off since it was constantly on maps and draining the phone battery and you can't choose what you want on the screen.
4) Hard to get used to a key after 3 cars/trucks with push button start. The cheapest base cars have PB start now but Ford thinks it's some sort of super high end feature.

The pros-
1) It rides and drives nice. It has the 20in wheels on the STX package so that may help but no complaints other than I may add a rear sway bar.
2) The 2.7 EB is a great engine. Plenty of power and averaging 21 mpg so far.
3) The trans in this truck is pretty decent- not as good as the ZF 8 speed in a Ram but almost infinitely better than the 10 sp in my 18 F150.
3) The seats are good and this truck has the console which makes it feel like a totally different truck than one with the fold down seat/armrest.
4) Ford Pass is a mixed bag but considering its free, a nice feature it you want to remote start your truck, etc.
5) Huge discounts and rebates and 1.9% financing made the truck a deal. The con is that when you have to put 14K of discounts on the hood of a truck, you have a problem and resale will reflect that. But, that may work itself out after they finally get rid of all the leftover 23's.

Generally pretty happy with the truck except for all the rattles which can really drive you crazy.

Pop off the cover between the A pillar and door panel and line the contact areas with foam or that electrician cloth tape. Solved my rattling problem up front. Can also do it inside the A pillar

Looks like it could go either way?

Mine is 2 years old and has only the slightest rattle in the front passenger seat if it's empty and I'm on a poor enough road surface. It's noticeable mostly because the truck is so dang quiet otherwise. Especially in EV mode.
Definitely a hit-or-miss thing. I've had my truck for about a year and a half. The only rattle I had came from the driver's door mirror inside cover. I popped it off and put it back on with a little love tap, and it hasn't rattled again since.

My 23 Platinum PB has a squeaky driver window above 70 MPH. Barely tap the window control to take pressure off the glass and it goes away. Otherwise it's dead quiet.
Shocks suck. Bounces around like a 12 year old in one of those blow up bounce houses.
Those will be getting replaced soon.

My 21 STX is pretty rattle free, occasional rear seat squeak. But overall, pretty quiet..

The inside mirror attachment cover (black triangular piece) on mine was squeaking and I had to take it off and put some felt tape on the places where the posts pop in. Lots of that stuff in these trucks. All my bad rattles were in the lt dash/A pillar and console area. I should take the A pillar cover off and just see what is behind it but I haven't had time to research how it comes off.

I may add a rear sway bar to give some more body control since it is pretty bouncy in all axis'.

My 22 STX has quietest cab on any vehicle I’ve owned
I do have a drivetrain whine when coasting that sucks but Ford service manager told me it’s a transmission brake feature sounds like BS to me I think it’s from rear end but stereo drowns it out
I block out dash screens and they keep coming back
No interior rattles but on long trips I think I hear something in drivers door
I was also told battery voltage around 12.2V is perfect and my battery checked fine
My wife’s new RAV4 shows similar voltage and both start great in cold weather so I’m done worrying about it
Great truck but I hate the technology that all vehicles have for long term ownership

Consider yourself lucky to have road noise problems. My truck sat for 15 months until the defective wiper motor could be replaced. I have had two batteries fail thanks to deep discharges that the Ford battery management system seems to cause.

I have had to cancel 3 vacation trips with my truck and now thinking about trading it in on a Ram 1500 or a Toyota Tundra.

At least you are honest and willing to divulge that a windshield wiper motor was your reason for canceling trips.

If I remember correctly, your windshield motor didn't fail, but you weren't going to risk it?
