At 80mph I get 22 mpg. At 70mph I get 24.5mpg.

I only have 1700 miles so I hope it gets better gas mileage after it breaks in.

I hope so too! 430hp weighing nearly 6000lbs. and getting 22mpg at 80mph is just not getting the job done. ?
One Truck to rule them all!

I got 24.2 mpg late last week on a two-day round-trip of about 250 miles. Most of this was on I-26 between Columbia, SC and Charleston, SC with cruise set at 77mph.

I have a 23 XLT, 6.5’ and tow mirrors, 10K miles. Truck is greatly afftby the go pedal as you would expect with any turbo vehicle, especially a truck. Mileage improved as it continued to break-in.

per the fuel mileage monitor, I consistently get 23-25 on long trips that are mostly flat at 70mph, at 75, 22-23mpg and 80 about 21. Mileage around town, with a very light foot and focus on the EV monitor, I can get 27-28 on my 30 mile round trip drive to Costco with speeds between 30-50mph. This loop, driven conservatively, yields 10 EV miles.

Nothing new really, Drive it hard and it sucks gas, use an egg between your foot and the accelerator and the PB can get great mileage in mixed driving.
Do you have the 18 or 20" wheels?

That’s a good representative, and it’s in line with my experience through the first year of ownership.

Agree. That's very acceptable for a vehicle as large & heavy as a Power Boost.

16.8 MPG average over 14k since new. Most of my driving is short on and off the freeway trips plus I have AT tires but I have been a little disappointed. My old 2012 f250 6.7 diesel with 35” rt tires and a 2.5” carli kit did better with the exact same routine.
Still enjoying my Powerboost but I would not buy one for mpg personally.

2023 PB 501a 4x4 short bed 7.2KW. PL=1658lbs.
My overall average is 20.4 last I checked.

Short trips, spirited driving, and extensive idling will drive down that overall number. I'm interested in what mileage my truck is capable of and the pics demonstrate that.

I also find that using cruise control actually lowers my mpg compared to driving the same speed range without it engaged. Cruise control uses boost over rpm to increase speed and stronger than coasting regen braking to slow down. It keeps a tight grip on the speed I select whereas when I'm in charge of the speed I let it coast above and gently increase rpm when below my desired number.
Had a feeling I was noticing the same about cruise and have started manually downshifting to stay out of the turbos. On moderate hills, bringing it down to 8th is usually all that is needed and once out of turbos, can usually go back to 9th fairly quickly and back to 10th by the crest of the hill.

Of course, all that depends of the accuracy of gauge which ???

Little over 5k on mine now and Trip 2 average shows 22.1 MPG (I always use Trip 2 for lifetime averaging).
I've gotten as low as 18 on long highway trips and as high as 28 on some shorter in town driving.

Just broke my record yesterday - must have gotten summer blend gas last week, did a 9.5 mile drive to work, ended up with 35.1 MPG indicated, 5.6 electric miles.

Did a few pulls on my way home from work the same day, got 22 MPG… ha!

How fast were you typically cruising on the highway trips?

Two weeks of ownership with my 2024, 800 miles accumulated. Fueling premium 92 from Costco, I am consistently doing about 21 MPG. Somehow city and highway driving are on the same range of between 20 and 23 MPG.
