I’ve tried that hundreds of times but it never works. I guess that just means I didn’t have an update in my queue. Bought truck 12/31/22 and got 3 updates in January of 2023 and nothing until 3/8/24

Yes, go to software update in settings, hit the update now button to start 2 minute countdown when you turn truck off. I just did this when I got home tonight.

In your case, nothing can be done to overcome the issue on Ford's side. Your truck is fine and can still get some of the bug fix updates it is pending, but as far as the numbered power-up updates, it may be a bit before you see one. The issue on on Ford's side, you just gotta wait it out until they sort it out.

Just so long as they don't kill my Canadian glare free headlights since the truck is back in the US ?. I can put them back with forscan, but I got them the easy way.

I wouldn't have an issue applying updates with a mongoose and fdrs would I? I don't have 360 view, but I would like to be able to pull that rear camera up when towing.

Even with FDRS and the Mongoose, you would not be able to fully update the truck. The problem is that the update you are missing is not showing on the server for you. You can't force it to show up with FDRS. Ford just needs to fix the issue on their side for your truck and many other vehicles.

With that said, you will be able to apply other updates that may give you what you're looking for, but you will not be able to get to the latest Sync version even with FDRS.

3 days 3 separate updated. Although this last update does not say what one it was. It just says "Minor Updates Here and There - A minor change so your vehicle can easily install more intricate updates coming in the future"

I believe this 2.7.4. So I can get a lower number update if I'm already up to 6.x.x?

Yea, that's a BCM update that Ford strangely released with the same 2.7.4 reference from an old IPC update. Nothing to be worried about.

It was first reported earlier this month. I have it on the spreadsheet, but I am not sure when was the last time the github was updated.

Today I received the 23-PU0630-YAW-RT update. I’m always eager to get a PCM update without having to break out the mongoose.
After driving a while until the hybrid drive started kicking in again, I got a nice bump in MPG. Not nearly enough data to make a judgement other than it feels like it runs in electric only mode for longer. We’ll see. Who do I have to bribe at Ford to get good patch notes?

After driving a while until the hybrid drive started kicking in again, I got a nice bump in MPG. Not nearly enough data to make a judgement other than it feels like it runs in electric only mode for longer. We’ll see. Who do I have to bribe at Ford to get good patch notes?

I'm getting the same update tonight. I'll report back once I get it. I just got 6.4.0 on 3/13 after going 5 months wo any updates... Just happy I'm getting updates again.

Got another Priority Update this morning (03/20/24) at 1:00 AM. It is 23-PU0813-DOR-OP2 Driver Door Controls. The verbiage read like this. "Your vehicle's window, mirror, and lock controls have been updated for more reliable performance, enhancing your comfort and control."

I have not had any problems before. O hope this update doesn't cause problems.

Of course, I'm still waiting for OTA 6.8.0.

Supposedly upgraded, reducing false eyes off warnings when driving hands free.
