It's your battery. Capacity is very low (26 out of 70 if you have the OEM battery). SoC is not too bad at 70, but it looks like your battery may need to be replaced if you have been charging it and still getting failures and this low capacity reading.Regarding 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM2.
My truck has tried and failed to install this at least 3-4 times now. (the 2 updates prior to this one installed fine.)
When I get the notices of the pending updates I have been hooking up the installed NOCO charger so I know my battery will be charged enough.
Any idea why this one won't install?

Thankyou. It's the original battery. I'll have Ford check it again. If they say it's good (like they did a couple months ago) I guess I'll look at buying a battery myself. It's your battery. If it passes the battery test, they can't replace it under warranty. I have seen this happen many times to owners where the battery report poor condition during an update, but supposedly passes a battery test.Thankyou. It's the original battery. @rugedraw thank you. so much room in that battery tray. must be why i see people going to H7 batteries

I'm not sure which one to trust. I have seen many cases where battery tester reports a battery is healthy when the truck says otherwise. Thanks again.
Just curious.. In your opinion, which system is more accurate in regards to a battery's actual status condition: the truck's computer/battery monitor (or whatever is reading its battery status) or; the battery testor device?
Don
yeah i would imagine my battery tested pretty bad if Ford swapped in a new one.It can hold an H8, too as long as it is not a PowerBoost. When mine dies, I plan on upgrading mine. I would take another H6 through warranty like you got, though.
BumpSo.. I dunno when they added this, but I'm fairly sure I'd never heard it before... When I got the truck I turned off double honk. Now, updates later, the dashboard yells at me if I get out with the key in my pocket with the engine running. It's basically the first 2 notes of the door open chime repeated rapidly 4 times.... That's nearly as annoying as the double honk but isn't as loud... Is this new?
Someone posted about it a few weeks ago said it was new to them. I've always had it make chimes getting out. Doesn't bother me I have the radio going anyway. The double honk was my main concern.Bump
Yes, that sound is new to our trucks as of OTA 6.8.0, Everyone has it. Until someone gets annoyed enough with it and figures it out in Forscan if that's even possible there's no answer as to how to turn it off or disable it.Bump
Did they turn off factory double honk maybe when they turned this annoying thing on?Yes, that sound is new to our trucks as of OTA 6.8.0, Everyone has it.
