Mine just updated Dec 1st. I’ll check out the linked thread.

Well, I downloaded the tracking spreadsheet and all I can do is shake my head. What a cluster!

My XLT has both Alexa and wide screen view mode, so I must have 3.5.3.x installed. But yet my Truck says I am running 2.7.4. This makes no sense unless these version numberings represent different “parts” of the F-150 system, such as Blue Cruise) or are trim level specific. But unless Ford publishes documentation we will have no idea.

Yeah that's the new update using an old version number.

You should eventually get 6.x updates soon. I just got 6.3.0 and 6.4.0 on Thursday and Friday.

After 6.3 update today I am gettign an error telling me that speed sign recognition is disabled when I turn on cruise control. Has anybody else seen this issue ?

Not seen that personally but some of my settings did get reset. I'd check that it is turned on under driver assistance.

So it doesn't show BC expiring in 2073 or whatever it was before.

after 6.3 update I no longer have the bluecruise expiration date of 2073 anymore so I guess they will be turning off my bluecruise in a few weeks !

yes it is turned on ! So i toggled it off and back on but still get the error... I also see that they moved the button to increase or decrease the speed for the posted sign recognition has been moved to another menu.

Still unclear if Ford will update 21 trucks at all for new BC. They seem to be focused on 22 and 23 trucks. Wait and see is my guess but also I'm not surprised at all Ford is forcing subscription on everyone now.

yes I got that email. I do remember that I got a $600 credit when I puchased the Truck for this in 2021.

Has anyone noticed the menu changes that are referenced in 6.3.0. I have to say I dolt think I have seen a single change in the truck over the last 11 months of software upgrades.

I took picture of screen when update started hitting other trucks. Compared it to what I have now and I see no difference. It might be changes buried on screens I rarely see, but the day to day view is same to my eyes. I assume because this software went to other vehicle models they might have a noticeable difference.

I think these 6.x.x updates are like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster.

I'm just happy that my almost 3 year old truck is still getting updated. Ford will upset a lot of people if they don't bring BC 1.3 to 21 trucks. Unless there is some hardware reason why they cannot do it.

I agree! I can't quite understand it but I get really excited about each new update even though I have not seen any change in the 8!

The only update that has had a noticeable difference for me was the one that added full-screen Android Auto. I guess that's because it's so visual.
