What does your about sync show for software? I got sync 980 today which was 6.2 in the MME, but someone else said they got 6.2 but have older sync version. This is mine

Reunited a day early with my truck.....I got 6.2.0 OTA first thing on Thursday Oct 12. Did the PSA testing that PM (Forscan for PSA, full screen not..., and 50/50 had been done 10/9).

PSA nor 50/50 are working. @superfordman your F150 has skills my 21 can't match!

Sync version after 6.2.0 for me is 926!

From 10/14/2023 my FDRS outstandings were not in areas that help enable PSA function :

Perhaps something has shown up in FDRS since then....

Okay, so damn, what version am I on with 980? 6.2 in the MME is 980. 6.1 was the gateway (truck already got it a little earlier). 6.3 is the TCU and 6.4 is the SCCM. Seems like we may have a divergence of powerup numbers @rugedraw

6.2.0 is also a GWM on our trucks. I've been spending some time on the Lightning forums lately getting acclimated with their OTAs, but I have not spent any time on the MME forum, so not sure about that.

This the feature that slows down for curves?
Only works when you have the option turned on to follow the signs?
Yes, some curves, it just depends how sharp they are
Yes, PSA replaces speed sign recognition under cruise control
But given you have a 21, its more than likely not going to work for you since your IPMA doesn't have new enough software

Shoot, like I said earlier, need to have latest 23+ software on the IPMA then most likely. It can be done in your case if you really, really want, but you would have to find a 23 truck for a day, swap IPMAs, then update yours as if it were going in that 23 truck. Not exactly an easy or quick task.

Yeah I'm aware no love for the 21 trucks. I turned off speed sign recognition when it tried to throw me through windshield. ?‍♂

I know this has been discussed but I would like some clarity from the experts. I have a 22 xlt non 360 cam/non iacc.

What values would need to be changed to Enable the speed sign indicator on the 8 Inch cluster screen?

Also can anything else be added like the turn by turn nav instructions fed info from carplay?

If I had to guess since you have a 22 XLT you probably don't have nav then either? That's where it gets tricky as you really need factory nav for speed sign recognition to work in any sense from what we have seen. You might look through this thread and try a few of these things.

I can confirm that speed sign recognition doesn’t work all that well without Nav. You will get the initial notification but it'll disappear unless you pass another speed sign within a minute or so. If you want to try the changes posted in the link above work.

I have a '23 XLT 302a w/ nav and PSA doesn't seem to be working on my truck. I tested it on a long highway drive and it never slowed down before a speed limit reduction. Also I had a couple of cases where the camera picked up 40mph access road signs and slammed on the brakes, so I just disabled it entirely.

Bingo. This is why I turned off sign reading early on!

It does seem to guess at speed limits using GPS too. My residential street is 30 MPH but I start truck not reading any signs and it says 25 MPH on dash. No signs going out of neighborhood only coming in.
I turn on major street and suddenly it changes to 40 MPH, no signs around, actual speed limit is 45 MPH.
