Turn Signal Cameras???

Another thought going through my mind is if the lighting on my trailer will have enough of a draw to trigger the system to work since all the lighting is LED.

I don’t think that matters. System looks for a trailer attached like it does with any trailer, and turn signal from the truck triggers the cameras rather than the trailer turn signal. As long as your truck sees a trailer attached it should work.

That's only when in reverse? My son's Honda civic displays the camera with turn signal. If I had to pick just one feature for my truck that would be it.

At least Civic and above since around 2012, could be lower models as well. And there is a button on the direction/light arm to turn it on/off without a turn signal as well. Absolutely outstanding feature. Unfortunately, if I am not mistaken, Honda is sunsetting this for BLIS.

8, and if 8 doesn't work, then C, but that's the easy part. It requires more than those two forscan changes. Like I said, I had help. I wouldn't be able to do it on my own.

Nah, the ability to do that is already there. Ford just doesn't think F150 owners would benefit from it. It's even more impressive at night. It's brighter than using the actual mirror. Camera quality is poor, but visibly is great.

If it can already do it and just needs software then it can be added as a "new" feature with an update. Like Alexa, but actually useful to more people.

Oh, they can add it with an update for sure. What I'm saying is that our trucks don't need any "preparing".

Guess I need to read up more on this.
I don't have a trailer though so not much help to me. I'd be happy to have that feature full time. I know I can access a "trailer view" without a trailer attached which is split screen same view you are getting with turn signals. Doesn't work on road though. ?
