Just got a message in fordpass but still no email. I enjoy how they are framing it as a preview ending and not a feature they are removing. Clever.

I got that FordPass message today as well.

The funny thing is that even though folks have said that they were no longer getting SecuriAlert messages... I still do. I am pretty up to date on my OTAs as well (Just got 4.2.4 yesterday).

But, I guess the alerts will go away altogether on the 15th... bummer.

The notice showed up in my Fordpass today.

I figured Ford was going to remove it after seeing a bunch of folks losing it.

Does anyone know why Ford made the decision to do away with it?

hopefully they fix it and bring it back
i never understood how the notice would be sent if doors were unlocked using the fob? seems to me that should have turned off secure alert.
i used the settings for my truck when i did road trips

I got the 4.2.3 update today but nothing about the SecuriAlert. I have to look to see if I even have/had it anyway.

Not me. I did get 4.2.4 today, but no email from Ford and nothing on my Ford pass about securialert going away.

I wish the system worked correctly but seeing that they're getting rid of it, it's obvious that they didn't put much resource on the project. I enabled it when I went out of town for a weekend parking in parking garages and hotels lots. I disabled it when I got back home but still get all of the alerts even with it disabled. I don't need it for 99% of my usage but it was a nice feature to have if I was out of my element.
