ford pass and secure alert

Anyone else having weird alerts realted to secure alert?
my schedule has it OFF from 6 am to 6pm
but the last week, if i open any doors or drive or stop and open a door i get a message in ford pass that the secure alert has detected doors opened? but it shows OFF in ford pass.

Secure alert, has completely disappeared as an option for me. After updating to 22228 back in October I ended up having to do a reset in sync. Then had to reload Fordpass on my phone and reconnect after that , no more Secure alert.... it's my understanding there’s problems with it and there going to reintroduce it in a future Fordpass update. Again Ford makes no official comment, removes a feature and says nothing.

It used to work really well, it’s still available in my app, but it doesn’t really function anymore. Rip proper alerts. Rip the calculator that helped with figuring out payloads.

Yes I am having the same. Alerts when it is off.

Same here. Truck is parked outside and would like to use it for alerts overnight but forced to turn off due to alerts outside the set schedule.
Another great idea by Ford with poor/awful execution.

I never minded the alert for every door open event.
Nor did I feel the desire to filter them out regardless of whether it was me opening the door or not.
That's probably because I parse log files and such for many years, and FordPass made it easy enough to select 30 or 40 of the records at a time and delete them.

I also had pretty timely notifications the majority of the time. Wasn't unusual to be within a few seconds.

I'm kinda bummed. I liked the logging.

Well, enjoy it while you still have it. As of the 4.2 4 ota update it has disappeared for everyone who received the update. Ford has now sent an email saying that they will discontinue Securalert services as of 5/20/23. RIP Securalert ?

So after losing Securilert a few days ago as a result of 4.2.4.....

A few minutes ago I went to the truck to do a battery test for HammaMan and I opened my door and got in start the truck.

Time stamp in the app was 9:19:17PM

I received a securilert for 9:20PM

I haven't received a single one since 5/7, Sunday, when I got the update.

And my FordPass no longer has Securilert Enabled on the opening screen

“With the preview of SecuriAlert wrapping up, this feature will no longer be in the app as of May 15, 2023. We greatly appreciate that you tried the feature during this preview. We’ll take the feedback and learnings from this trial and apply them when bringing you new features in the future.

Can confirm. Received 4.2.4 yesterday. Just checked Ford Pass, and sure enough, SecuriAlert has disappeared.

Yea, I don't see the Securilert mention in FordPass. But I'm still getting the Android notifications and the messages in FordPass.

I'm guessing they will get nixed tomorrow? The 15th?

I liked SecuriAlert, and hope they find a way to bring it back soon. When on vacation, I liked the alerts when someone opened the door, as I had forgotten to lock the door. They didn't take anything, but it helped the police track them on security cameras, with the timestamp information.
