When my 2022 arrived, the only delete it had was the Park Assist delete.

That's the only explanation I had for why my front cameras didn't autolaunch even though I had the sensors and the alerts.

I can't remember which thread on the forum it's posted in, but someone provided me with a Forscan edit suggestion and once I applied it my cameras were enabled for autolaunch at the first warning tone.

Can you expand on what changes were made to your as builts, or point me to where it’s written out? I remember seeing something on this before but it was a while ago now. My 22 has the APA delete also and IIRC you only had to enable it in forscan?

Antho was the gentleman who generously looked up my AsBuilt and deciphered what he thought would enable my camera autolaunch.

And it worked!

It appears that he is attempting to do the same for you.

If for some reason I don’t have all of the sensors, will it through an error? I guess I just gotta look and see if I have those brown sensors under the bumper, correct? They look similar to the BLIS modules if memory serves me correctly

I thought you where talking about the front parking sensors triggering the front camera to pop up. Thats what that bit flip does. The APA just uses additional 4 sensors. 2 on the front outside bumper and 2 on the rear outside. I havent looked into that in while but im sure its easy to find out. You would just get a DTC for each missing sensor if they are not wired in.

Gotcha, I haven’t paid attention yet to see if the front camera comes on with the parking sensors. I haven’t gotten to drive it much yet, just got it Monday. I do have the 4 outboard sensors, so I’m not sure what’s included in the active park assist and what’s deleted when I see the delete on the sticker. I guess it’s time to start digging around in PTS again, but I haven’t MUCH less free time now with this new job

@dolsen Congrats on the new truck and job. @Jesse-Infotainment found that they removed a chip from the IPMA that handled the APA. Most had all of the sensors and wiring and where missing the chip. If it was a early delete its possible you still have the chip and everything but the software disabled it. I think that was the case for @Snakebitten.

First thanks on helping on the code for my forscan to turn cameras on when park asisst came on

My truck was built 8 of 22 so it probably has the chip missing for APA , is there anyway to tell without pulling module? Would love for this feature to work

Scroll up. The two values are just combined on the modification instruction, but there are two separate values that are being edited.

So the first value (E, 6, A, or 2, etc)is to make DGI Enabled, relative to the other features your truck has.



Maybe only appears in certain drive modes, since the only other options are TTD Always On and TTD Always Off?

Thanks @hotrodmex , not sure what to scroll, I am looking at both settings (Common and IPC tabs). My truck is 5.0 so my settings should be A5, according to the Common tab and If I go by the IPC tab I would only need to change one digit to 5 (I have TBC). Hence the confusion between the two tables.
I am still curious what SP1/SP2 mean.
