No. All reflectors headlight trucks were at risk but that update was pulled. Its not available. Ther eis confusion though becasue there is an older BCM update still available. So 302As (with reflector LEDs) are safe?

Thanks @Jesse-InfotainmentI can double check but it should be fine. You are probably on teh BCM version. There was an update in the summer I believe. I can check your vin and tell you
Yeah its good to go
Great, I will update it shortly. Should I remove my forscan updates first? I just have Bambi mode and 75% brightnessYeah its good to go
Not required. If you did them long enough ago they are already reflected onlineGreat, I will update it shortly. Should I remove my forscan updates first? I just have Bambi mode and 75% brightness
Jesse can you elaborate on this a bit... I did some minor Forscan changes (added tow mirror running lights, Bambi mode, disable double honk) almost a year ago. After a while do you mean that the Forscan changes eventually overwrite Ford's asbuilt file? I'm confused how the FDRS updates I'm considering doing (akin to 3.5.3) may or may not conflict with these Forscan changes I did. Will I encounter any failures because of the Forscan changes? If someone can dumb it down for me how Asbuilts play with the BCM and/or GWM (or other modules?) it would be really educational for me. Thanks! Not required. I just picked this one up based on all the recommendations. Crazy thing is, if you read the instructions/user manual that came with it, it literally states that it should NOT be used for programming! That’s the one I am using myself! I am very happy with this charger/maintainer. It has a power supply mode, which serves well for this purpose
As to your first question, there really isn’t a comprehensive guide to the FORScan mods that might interfere with a module software update. Early on—we’re talking March of last year—several people who made FORScan changes to the IPC had problems updating the IPC software. It would blow up at the configuration stage. There may have been a few problems with other modules but the IPC is the one I remember. So it can happen, but so far it’s pretty rare and we really only know a particular FORScan change is going to cause a problem when it actually causes a problem and it’s investigated. If you have a problem, @Jesse-Infotainment can figure out the offending FORScan change, reverse it, and then the module can complete it‘s configuration with the PMI or configuration tools in FDRS. It’s a pain but it’s not a huge deal.Jesse can you elaborate on this a bit... I did some minor Forscan changes (added tow mirror running lights, Bambi mode, disable double honk) almost a year ago. Yes, it does. But it’s fine for Fords. They don’t seem quite as power-hungry during programming as other manufacturers.I just picked this one up based on all the recommendations. The mach-e turns on some of the cooling pumps when any major update goes on. I had a full 12v battery and a 15a charger running, and at 10v (not even half way done w/ update) I had to add the F150 into the mix via a custom boost wire (hybrid won't run engine w/ hood up).Yes, it does. I had the exact same experience. Even using the recommended charger in supply mode it couldn't keep up with the MachE, I had to hook the PB up as well. Thought for sure I was going to brick the wife's car and never hear the end of it.The mach-e turns on some of the cooling pumps when any major update goes on. The under-seat battery can be used to connect up to for 'boosting' (slightly press throttle to turn on generator), but it shouldn't be connected to for jump starting as it's fused for 125a and its contactor is similarly rated. I use its 12+ and clamp to the seat's bolt for the -. I boosted twice over 90m for about 15m or so simply to put more power into all 3 batts (3rd being mach-e). That's where I saw a peak of 15.2v on the PB's 12v bus.I had the exact same experience.
