What's the reason for that expiration? Is it just a safety feature to make sure you're always using the most recent map data?
That would be my guess. With so much construction etc, They probably dont want you running around with old maps.

Oh crud IT IS 10/12/22 now, I didn't even realize that it only bumped 3 days LOL. Good one Ford....
Somebody on another forum..Mach-E I think? ..said that it went from 10 September to 10 December now. That 10/12/2022 is the way they do dates in Europe...no idea why they chose that format for a display here in the US.

That makes sense why it looked like it only jumped by a couple days. Sounds like Ford has some European devs

I got notification to update: 22-PU0727-VI-FXB. I nervously installed it and it seems to have made BlueCruise better - it doesn’t cancel when it passes an exit and seems to be better about not hugging the right side of the lane. Maybe this is a total fluke that it works and maybe I need to drive it more. But initial impressions seem positive.

Could be. The Blue Cruise Application was updated. I havent had much chance to drive it yet. I tested it to verify it still worked but nothign major.

I don't use BlueCruise anymore because I hate how it favors so far to the right side of the lanes on a multi lane freeway. I almost touched mirrors with another truck to the right when I quit using it.

I have to agree with you - I felt myself fighting with BC due to its affinity to hug the right lane. Give the new update a try. With the initial driving I did - I was comfortable using it after installing the update. Let us know your thoughts.

I'll check it out tomorrow. My thoughts are the truck should be dead center in the lane since all the other idiots on the road are drifting all over the place while staring at their phones.

I wonder if it's a sensor missaligned/calibration issue. If so, hopefully someone figures out a way to reset/recalibrate them? My truck stays dead center in the lane. I verify it by using the backup camera while driving, since it's easier to see the truck in relation to the lanes. I've never had an issue where it was too close to the other cars (left/right lanes)... over 1k miles using it on too.
