Decided to chat with Ford again and they confirmed the worst, my truck is on a chip hold as well, and has a delivery date of October 25th. I just sold my old truck (prematurely I guess) since the process moved faster than I thought. I guess that bit me in the ass lol.

I got the "Chip Hold" a few weeks ago, was built on 5/10, found out its waiting on a wiper motor, not a chip, and I also sold my current truck, after they told me my truck was on its way, obviously prematurely, so now I will be transferring my old truck over in a couple weeks.

Sold my car. Found out I was on chip hold till late September. Bought a 2022 xlt V8 dealer stock unit they had coming in. Will trade the xlt in for the Lariat powerboost whenever it comes in. Dealer agreed to buy it back for what I paid for it.

that is also the massive recall on all trucks since 2020. I was told wiper motors on my 2022 is why I'm on hold too. Don't hold your breath, my recall notice for my 2020 I just got said "no inventory to replace these faulty wiper motors, we will let you know". My dad also got the notice for his 2022 super duty.

I feel your frustration. I actually bought another truck already, then found out my F150 is coming in June. So I’m not sure what I’ll do. Loving the truck I bought, so I might just get my deposit back on the Ford.

Just curious if anyone can still beat my 10/28 ETA?? I hope they include some Halloween Candy for the kids when it's delivered. Glad to see some of you getting moved forward.

Just had the production change to built this morning. Not sure WTF that means with a 10/28 ETA. I'm not going to call or chat with Ford because I know they will give a different answer. Maybe, just maybe we are starting to see these ETA's timetables shorten.

@Kalidor , any chance you got a full VVR from Koons along the way? I'm curious to know the path the trucks are taking from Dearborn to VA.

So Ford chat said my truck is in Muncie, KS and said it's going to be "In Transit" until June 25…

Norfolk Southern says the Railcar it's supposed to be on is at the Edgemoor Yard just north of Port Wilmington in Delaware.

So it appears my truck is going to get unloaded at Port Wilmington and make it's final leg from there.

my dads friend has been in Munchie, KS on a rail car for 3 weeks. You're not going anywhere fast unfortunately lol

The convoy vs rail designation on your WS only indicates how your truck leaves/exist the plant, it doesn't mean it will travel to your dealer like that all the way.

I have Convoy on my WS and I'm now loaded on a rail car.

How did you find out that you were on a rail car?

I understand that from other previous posts but you'd think if trucks are traveling in a general direction they would follow some semblance. All the Koons Va trucks are rail while mine and @Riderdie757 are both convoy (from the WS leaving the plant) going to the Hampton Roads Va area and they also mentioned Petersburg Va was were ours will land after being on rail.

How did you find out that you were on a rail car?

In my experience Ford chat has told me City, State, Ramp#, and Railcar# it is on
