I put about 8000 km on it between the first valuation and now. They took a look at it today for about maybe 2 minutes and re-confirmed the value. I was expecting much worse but it went smooth.
That’s awesome glad it worked out! To keep the value the same is reasonable on their part. Not your fault the new truck was so slow to arrive! I’ve put 20,000 kms on my trade since January, but I use my truck for work. Still making payments on it so the numbers should be ok. Just don’t have a lot of faith these days lol. Hoping the new truck ships out of Dearborn soon.

Ok, I’m gonna necro this old dead forum. How is every one and their truck doing if you still have one from this build week? I had ended giving up and buying a lightly used 2021 with 8k miles. Still loving it and not a single issue apart from some recall checks, that once checked, I didn’t need any work done.

Just rolled 35k on mine 2.5 years after delivery. Best truck I've ever had.

Just read your signature, what an interesting story, who did you order from by chance?

My truck was “Shipp” and probably still shows “Shipped” on Fords site, but I was able to track it via I think United and was able to educate my salesman on Friday that either he was lying about it not being on the lot or United was was lying about it being delivered that Tuesday.

Not saying it would have been sold out from under me, but I’ve always wondered.

Also just crossed 35k in mine, haven’t pulled anything as fun as @Bannerman, but it’s seen some hitches and quite a few road trips.

Not good. I've had several issues over my small 20k miles for 3 years.

-Auxiliary Transmission Oil Pump fail.
-Oil pressure sensor fail.
-A stock tire that took too long to diagnose it couldn't be balanced. I had vibrations from the beginning.
-Recall that messed up half the trucks electrical. Days to fix and get the truck back.
-Heat Exchanger valve position fail. Currently on backorder for replacement part.

Truck drives great now, but I'm in constant dread of what's next. When my warranty is up I'm selling without a second thought.

Sorry to hear that, seems to be luck of the draw on how well it was built due to staffing/parts, etc during COVID.

I originally ordered from a local Autonation. The staff and sales team were awesome but their hands were tied like other dealers they couldn’t really “hurry” the process. Went to Jim Tidwell in Sandy Springs, Georgia, they didn’t order another truck or anything but put me on a list as they got PBs in stock, ultimately that 21 rolled in and I took it from them.

I appreciate it and It really does. Majority of my issues were spread across others enough for quite a few forum posts to find info. I wasn't alone on them. Hell, the heat exchanger has the customer satisfaction program CSP page within the Ford Pass app. Hopefully I'm able to go a good amount without any issues.

I have 22k now.
How much does that rig weigh? I’ve been debating getting a pull bend RV, I currently have a motorhome that I’ve powered via Propower a few times.

I can't help but ask what you consider "best". "Nicest" I get. Or if you've regularly had vehicles with problems within that timeframe and miles, I guess "best" might apply. But barring that, "best" would seem to be grossly premature at 2.5 yrs and 35K. Maybe I just have unrealistic expectations in this day and age.

I guess I mean best in that it’s awesome at towing, hauls ass when it’s not, gets better mileage than any of my other trucks, even with 35s, more space for the family, on and on etc. I’ve got a 100k warranty but I’d be surprised if I didn’t upgrade before then as I WFH and only put about 12k on the clock and that will actually drop significantly as my wife’s TX will be the new family car.
