I guess I mean best in that it’s awesome at towing, hauls ass when it’s not, gets better mileage than any of my other trucks, even with 35s, more space for the family, on and on etc. I’ve got a 100k warranty but I’d be surprised if I didn’t upgrade before then as I WFH and only put about 12k on...
I wish. I did the first change at 1100 miles, as soon as I got back from Granger. Did it again at 5000 but didn’t send a sample in until my 10k change. I’ll do my 30k in a month or so, it’s nice to have a record of oil changes and how the engine is wearing.
I know most of y'all just get groceries but for those that tow/haul, here's is mine with 285/75R18s, Halo Lift adjusted all the way down, shorter 1.5" rear block, Roadmaster Active Suspension and 600# of simulated tongue weight. Plus I guess the weight of the hitch at 70# and a 120# bed cover.
Just shy of 1600 pound payload, so that’s for sure sure our limiting factor. Coolers would probably go in boat so that leaves 600 for passengers and gear which will be fine until kids get bigger I guess. I would use airbags or similar too.
I currently have a 3000# boat/trailer, Tremor tows it like it's not there. Don't have brakes on trailer, again, never has been a problem. I am considering a new to me Grady White 257. Boat would be roughly 7000 including trailer. With the 3.73 gears, ecoboost, and 10,900 tow rating this...
Boats and trailers that light and small basically just "hide" behind the truck. I got 17-18 towing my little skiff down to the coast and back last summer.
