Hey not sure if it's been posted. There appears to be another price increase. Earlier I went to the ford site and configured 25 rcsb its $100 more. I'm sure how much the other trim increased.
I mean, the price of everything is going up every day. Why wouldn't trucks?

Used trucks will be in demand because the higher priced new trucks have been decontent'd to the point they aren't worth the money. Doing away with the keyless entry key pad is a perfect example. Some people bought a Ford, just because of the keypad. Who wants to pay big bucks for a dealer glue on keypad? Who wants to pay more money for a truck that has fewer features than an older model. Farley has to find some way to pay for the billions he has wasted on his EV boondoggle. Squeezing more money out of popular models is his way of doing that, rather than just throwing in the towel on EVs - they will go the way of the Edsel.

Good morning.
How do repo's affect the potential incentives that Ford will offer on new 25's? If at all??
Im asking cuz i genuinely do not know. Ive seen repo's and loan defaults mentioned a couple times now. Do these things have an impact on Fords offers?

Thanks!
Imo they effect new vehicle sales
If you have vehicle say 12 to 20 months old , with normal miles sitting next to a similar brand new at 89k
And repo is 60...yes it does or can slow new car sales
My dealer has 2 f350 dually crew cab
Lariats loaded one a 23 and one a 24
The price swing is wide
So you get a good bargain

Used and new interest rates are still absurdly high, but not as bad as the late 80s.
Imo
It's turning the tide back in favor of the buyer with excellent credit and cash on hand to kill on a deal
My dealer pulled a few tricks in discounts to offset cost of interest over the loan..
As well as maybe over value my 22,
With only one delete...the auto start stop...I have massaging seats..
Thsts hard to find in a 22..
plus a few other items..
I am sure he does it for most of the repeats and those who don't need a new vehicle...

What would hurt;
Is the big 3 pulling a 2005 2006 trick of eveyone getting below x plan, like assembly line prices on new vehicles. That murdered used car values for a very long time

And my 80 plus year old parents got a 2500 pco in mail yesterday
So it's getting real???
It will take much more than2500 to get her out of her hybrid maverick
The mini pb I call it

Good morning!
Im just curious to ask about the rebates that ford is sending out?? Im currently waiting (more like hoping) for Ford to offer 0% on a new 2025 Plat PB. Are you saying that you anticipate Ford will get aggressive with some incentives on new 25's?

They currently have some lower Ford rates available through the end of the year. but 3.9% isn't good enough.

Thanks!
They offered me a Ford factory issued $3,000 cash off a new one and apparently are willing to be aggressive on the trade in of the current truck. How aggressive I don’t know. The interest is my hold up. I’d love a ‘24 or ‘25 Lariat Screw 5.0L to replace this one.

Ah, ok. Gotcha.
The interest is definitely the hold up for me as well. Grangers 4% below invoice wont be beat. You can take that quote to your local dealer and see if they are willing to match it and if not, then just buy it from them and make arrangements to travel there and drive it home once its ready. Well worth that effort in my opinion.

Pair that deal with 0% from Ford and that is a helluva deal. So my hope is Ford will offer that. The current Ford financing incentives last through the end of the year. So my guess is there wont be any improvements to them until at least then. Quite possibly longer... Ugh..

There are some nice things (additions) that would make me take a look, but not enough. What I have has been a dream. PB Super Duty and Ramcharger are on the horizon and perhaps a PB V2. No truck I will own, for the rest of my life, will be without the PB feature of some flavor.
A Godzilla Powerboost Super Duty with 50A service for my Brinkley 5th wheel dreams ?

It’ll all correct soon, repos and defaults are at an all time high and Ford is sending out rebates left and right. My dealer called me last week asking for me to trade in my STX on a new one and offered up some rebates. They never cold call me. Car sales are slow is what that tells me. Pondering it but interest is still high.
I haven't gotten any cold calls, but have gotten several offers of "top dollar" purchase price for my 2018 Fusion. Unfortunately for the dealer, my 2018 has a feature that's not available on a new vehicle. NO PAYMENTS

Same is true for my MY22 PB, except it will take 5 more months to achieve the NO PAYMENT level.
