Hey not sure if it's been posted. There appears to be another price increase. Earlier I went to the ford site and configured 25 rcsb its $100 more. I'm not sure how much the other trim have increased.

It’ll all correct soon, repos and defaults are at an all time high and Ford is sending out rebates left and right. My dealer called me last week asking for me to trade in my STX on a new one and offered up some rebates. They never cold call me. Car sales are slow is what that tells me. Pondering it but interest is still high.

The real issue they would face with me is they have to have a truck that I desire more than the one I have.

So it wouldn't be interest rates, or price increases thwarting their efforts. It'd simply be that Ford, GM, Ram have a challenge to build a more appealing truck.

I don't dislike the current offerings. But they just haven't moved forward.

That's funny because my dealer sent me a letter this week giving me a heads up about the recent recall for PCM reprogramming but also mentioned they would be interested in buying my truck and selling me a new Ford lol

The reason I went from my 21 limited to the 24 platinum plus was exactly that I desired it more than my limited. What’s different? The heads up display, pro access tailgate and the updated blue Cruise. Those three things were a game changer for me. But I agree. Don’t start with Price start with whether the one you have is the one you want.

+1

There are some nice things (additions) that would make me take a look, but not enough. What I have has been a dream. PB Super Duty and Ramcharger are on the horizon and perhaps a PB V2. No truck I will own, for the rest of my life, will be without the PB feature of some flavor.

My dealer wants my truck bad, but I can't replace it with what I want, because what I want is not available in a 6.5' bed anymore unless I move from my XLT to a Platinum at almost a 15k increase! I would seriously look at a a new XLT with the 303A high (leather/active x) option BAP if I could get the 6.5' bed. I currently have the sport appearance on my '21. Funny thing is, what I want is available to order in Canada. I have seen some of them roll through our town in NW Minnesota. Did I mention that I want a 6.5' bed?

^this^

"They" includes every marque, I just don't foresee any of them producing a truck that's better suited for me than my '22 Lariat SuperCab.

I can only hope that my 'F150 good karma' continues, and I've got another 20-year vehicle (witness my still-owned 2005 F150).

With any luck I'm not at all likely to be contributing to the auto-industry's bottom line for a long time, and I'm OK with that.

Signed,
In it for the long-haul

I hope the correction is rather harsh, the hubris is large with these folks. Ram too.

Good morning!
Im just curious to ask about the rebates that ford is sending out?? Im currently waiting (more like hoping) for Ford to offer 0% on a new 2025 Plat PB. Are you saying that you anticipate Ford will get aggressive with some incentives on new 25's?

They currently have some lower Ford rates available through the end of the year. but 3.9% isn't good enough.

Thanks!

I would pay stupid money for one if they started making Lariat SuperCabs again. Didn't hold onto my 2020 because it was a COVID build with a lot of weird issues and I just didn't trust it. But, it was by far my favorite configuration and by the time I hit that point the 22s were all gone. Now you can't even get a decently optioned XLT SuperCab.

Ford credit is getting sneaky to
Om my truck loan thst is s few dollars short of paid in full
They show a graph of equity and what trucks I may want to look at..
Plus a month price etc....even use x plan

Guess the 2 trucks
2024 f250 king ranch at my dealer and a 2024 f150 kr at a competitive dealet
My dealer , a week or so ago called when my pco hit his tickler file
He cut a very attractive deal on the f250
Said and done it would be mine for
79...down from 88, 84, 82,

But interst rates above 1.9 or zero makes it a no go...
Ilike what I have very much

F250 is exact copy of my f150, enough to fool my wife
Early this week I had it washed, waxed, detailed..because they hit a homerun on the explorer wash wax detail
Anywho

We go to pick it up
Sales guy had it parked right next to the f250
My wife parked beside te 250..really not seeing it was a 250..at first ..she said wow your truck looks brand new,
I about died...thought she pulled a robert.
Sneaky dealer

But interest rates and besting my kr is a tough nut for dealer to crack

Bloomberg reports repos are at 23 to 25% hmm nearly a qtr of all sales for 2024..that's a whole lot

Good morning.
How do repo's affect the potential incentives that Ford will offer on new 25's? If at all??
Im asking cuz i genuinely do not know. Ive seen repo's and loan defaults mentioned a couple times now. Do these things have an impact on Fords offers?

Thanks!

You did mention ?

And I concur.
No future pickup truck of mine will be without:
ProPower
Elephant Ears
6.5' of bed (or more)

Which currently narrows the choices to a single Make/Model. Amazes me, considering Powerboost will be going into its 5th year of production soon and it's been far more successful in the market than a niche.

I think it goes to show just how long it takes for a concept to make it to the production line. It takes years to get from conference room debate, to paper, to mockups and final design choice, to...........

But I'm convinced that the ProPower feature will absolutely spread to other trucks and SUV's.
