Do you have a listing of the xx? Part number suffix numbers to reference which wiper motors are recalled.
Example;
ML34-17504-AA ,AC, BA etc
It appears to be everything that starts with ML34-17504-. Not only a certain revision or range of revisions.

Is the motor easily accessable to check part #?

The Lightnings are involved too. First notifications were hitting last week. I've got a May '22 build and am included.

That’s right from ford. Suffix numbers don’t matter, as long as it starts with ML34-17504 it’s junk

Easy enough after pulling the wiper and cowl and using a mirror. No use to do it twice though, make the service appointment and have them look

Avoided the first wiper recall and got hit with it the second time around. At least there is hope that you can still have a good wiper motor even if you’re in the recall!

it got a work out last month near pensacola fl
it was raining so hard we could not see the road, or cars wipers were flipping at super speed

Still haven't had the first recall done, but it was for the wiper arms, not the motor. I HATE my dealers service department as they have lied to me every time I've gone there and have yet to actually fix any problem I've brought my truck in for.

Anyway, this recall is the motor, so not the same issue as the first recall (wiper arms) as I see it? I don't have the wiper motor in my list, but the wiper arms recall is still there.

If anyone wants to recommend a good service department in the northern suburbs of Boston, let me know.

I think it's legit as a couple folks recently mentioned that they were unable to take delivery of thier new truck due to an outstanding wiper recall.

Yep… but the dealer ”found” the parts the next day and it is allegedly fixed. Good luck everyone. I also have a ‘22 Raptor and I’ve been waiting to see if I get a wiper recall on that as well.

Anyone get notified of this recall? Looks like it was just reissued. Got mine done last year with the original recall.

Yes, my wife received a notification about the wiper recall from Carfax. A dealer we purchased her Explorers from signed us up somewhere and she receives notifications about recalls and such way in advance of Ford sending us anything. I reached out to the dealer we frequent and they said the cannot address the recall yet because they're waiting on Ford to tell them what parts to order.

BTW - fortunately, my wiper motor has been operating without any issues. I hope it keeps it up until I get this recall addressed. Where I'm at in OH, we're going into our peak winter season, which equates to messy roads nearly everyday?

You are correct in that it is a legite recall. I verified it on Ford.com by plugging in my VIN.
