Hi all,

I'm just wondering which is quickest, both stone stock. Since there are different configurations of powerboost trucks available, I guess use the quickest one as a comparison. A stock rcsb 4wd will do the 1/4 mile in the mid 13's, but I really don't know about a powerboost.

I don't know what it would clock, but this bone stock XL Powerboost is noticeably light on its feet compared to my KingRanch Landyacht Powerboost

I would say lowest trim level PowerBoost sans any options, in Sport mode, in 4WD, and saying heck it to the drivetrain. Though honestly, any rental F150 is the fastest

I didn't know they made an xl powerboost. Imagine if you could get one in rcsb 4x4.

Don't think you can any longer. :(
It's been a heck of a truck for the company. Amazing truck for a $43k MSRP.

That's true. That should give it a slight edge in the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Of course that's also comparing the super crews and not a RCSB.

I have a 2025 XL Powerboost and I put the 91-octane Livernois tune on it a couple weeks ago. I can confirm this is a very quick vehicle.
PBs are all heavy though. I went from a '23 2.7 weighing about 4,700 lbs to this '25 PB weighing 5,600 lbs.
I'd assume the 4x4 RCSB is lower 4,000s? Not sure.

I own both a 2021 PowerBoost and a 2025 RCSB both are 100% stock.
They are both quick and fast the PowerBoost feels more in control though as its heavier and rides closer to the ground. The RCSB feels more jumpy and hoppy because its lighter so it is scarier driving faster, that said I plan on lowering the RCSB with a Ridetech lowering kit which I believe will feel more in control . The PowerBoost I plan keeping stock. I enjoy both trucks, both are fast and powerful and fun. Disclosure I have never raced either on a dragstrip, just driven on regular roads and freeways.

I am pretty sure I saw a drag test with th power boost, the 3.5 and the 5.0 all crew cab and the power boost was the slowest in the 1/4 mile with the 3.5 just edging out the 5.0. Power boost is still fast but the extra weight slows it down.

Please give us a link this drag test you mention.

Thanks!

I’m pretty sure you didn’t. The numbers are published and not hard to find.

The 5.0 RCSB and the Tremor 3.5 with 3.73 rear are right there with the PB. The extra weight is for punishing Rams and Chevys.
