Hey I was wondering if anyone happens to know the day that the Lariat had a price increase. It went up $1500 sometime at the end of Feb this year. I placed my order and then was told it went up $1500, so I'm just trying to make sure I sent everything in before that happened.

Not that it’s entirely relevant, but I managed to get a January built Lariat less than a week ago that was on the lot with under 100 miles on the odo. It was built in jan but wasn’t shipped until September. I paid about 5k less than a more recently built truck and it didn’t have the deleted equipment.

so yea, that makes a pretty big difference in pricing.

I just went through this with my dealership, ordered at the end of March, they tried stinging me with the price increase. Keep your paperwork and fight it
I sent everything in on Feb 18, so if it was raised on the 15 I probably don't have much to argue about. Were you able to get out of the extra $1500?

I was referring to the April price increase. If you sent Feb 18, but it was raised on 15, you missed that one, but you should be locked in against the April increase. Mine ended up being ~$2k, I contacted Ford, then typed up a letter to the BBB and states Atty General, salesman called to ask why I hadn't filled out the survey, explained to him what I was doing and his tune changed. Called me back 5 min later after speaking with the "manager" and they cut me two checks, one for the rebate I missed because they sat on the order (that I got in the mail a week ago) and the other for the $2k price increase (I'm currently waiting on)

Please use this as your definitive reference. If you were told anything other than what was clearly defined in the official ford communication below you were lied to.

I did the same back in early June...built early February and landed at the dealer late May. It was a customer order but he either gave up waiting or something changed so I grabbed it. Since I had slept through the 2022 order cutoff I was looking at a 2023 that priced out at about $6k more...and would be delivered maybe next spring or summer?

I don't have the paperwork in front of me, so don't quote the figures, but it was roughly $1,300 for the truck and another $700 for the options (BAP, FX4, Moonroof, 502A) came out to ~$2k from the order sheet to what they presented me when I picked it up. The dealership is supposed to honor the price at time of order and pass that back to you, mine was shady and tried saying I was stuck with higher price so they could pocket the difference (essentially double dip on the $2k)

Good job, it's nice to find a good deal like that. It also appears yours is more well optioned than mine.

Mine wasn't a special order, I think it was dealer ordered and just sat in Dearborn for about 9 months before being shipped. I also managed to get the dealer to honor x-plan pricing on a vehicle on that same truck just sitting on the lot. It was an easy decision for me.

It was $1,480.00 to be exact. I ordered mine in early February and when it arrived that’s how much the increase was. I didn’t have to pay that but that’s what it was.
