Shocked at the price increase!

If you do order a new F50 and would like to have the "Work Surface Area", by all means get it. I have a 2022 F150 Platinum that I did not order, I was just lucky to be at the right dealership when it arrived. So I traded my 2021 Tremor for it and had the "Work Surface Area" that I did utilize more than I thought. Long story short...I went by the dealership to see if it could be installed on my Platinum. Well, after 3 days of waiting for a price for this install they did text me with a quote and clearly they did say that there was not a package and every part needed would need to ordered. The ridiculous price from the dealership $3942.02. The factory install if you order is $195. What in the world is Ford smoking???

I think there’s also wiring that’s needs to be added because apparently there is a work station position sensor to let the truck know when it is folded down. The work surface itself comes up to about $900 in just parts, not to include markup, wiring and labor for installing.

Im not saying it’s worth the cost, or even justified, but it’s probably more in depth than most realize

It’s wild folks think it’s 20 year olds faults for not working $7.50 an hour when C suite pay has increased $500k a year for the last 10 years.

Definitely the 20 year olds fault prices of things are going up…
