2022 Powerboost King Ranch w/ 6.5 bed. 3000k miles on it.

15.7 mpg for the life of the vehicle with about 300 miles of towing. 19.2 mpg over the last 1000 miles w/o any towing on the dash. Calculated mpg is more like 18 which I attribute to lots of remote starting on cold days. I don’t think I can realistically do any better than this as I’ve been staying out of the throttle and been very conscious of gas consumption during that time.

I get 21-22 on highway trips if I keep the speed capped at 65. Setting the cruise at 75-80 and that goes down to 17-18.

I gotta say, for anyone looking at a new order, i really like how the 3.73 keeps me a little bit up in the power band, when i am just cruising around my neighborhood going 35-40MPH i am getting over 20MPG

Same at ~2k miles  Truck is lifted 2" and went from 36 lb OEM tires to 56 lb Load Range E 33" tires, which are probably to blame for deviation from stock/advertised MPGs. Plus, I enjoy 500ft lbs of torque.

XLT Powerboost; about 21mpg lifetime average with nearly 5K miles. Stop and go "City" trips below 50mph, I see 22-25 if I can stay out of the throttle. Hwy is usually closer to 21-23. Sport mode with heavy throttle gets down to 16-17 pretty easy.

I am the unlucky one. Ford did a lousy job of tuning my 2021 2.7 SuperCab that I run in Eco all the time. Long rolls to the stop signs or stop lights when ever possible. Everyone in the next lane are way down the road before I get to the speed limit. So, it is NOT from bad driving. Lie O Meter is about 1-1/2 MPG higher that calculations. I get 17 in town and 19.5 on freeway at 65 MPH. In other words I get VERY BAD MPG.

2021 Lariat Powerboost 16.5 MPG over the first 4000mi.

My 2015 5.0 XLT got 14.5 MPG. Both, trucks ran Raptor wheels and tires. The 2015 had a 2” level. I’m waiting for Fox or Bilstein to start shipping coil over leveling kits.

Cheers,

2021 supercrew, 157, 3.5, 3.31 rear, manage to get about 18-19 stop and go. Highway varies between 22-24 depending on temp and speed of course. This truck positively sips gas compared to my last trucks and it gets the same milage as my friends Tacoma .

‘21 lariat screw, 157, PB. 19.8 over the first 4,000 miles of ownership. Not bad for making it through winter and having AT tires. Recently with the warm weather I’ve been averaging 21-22 for the last 2 fill ups.

Taking too long to get up to speed is detrimental to good mpg. Just get up to speed and then settle into light throttle. It does make a difference.

16.4 mpg hand calculated, 1274 mi. so far. Winter blend fuel and cold mornings/days with many short errands.

Had to run across the state and then back again in a short period of time last week. Managed a very impressive 14.3 mpg in a 3.5L PB CC 4x4 LB

Well, after 60 years of driving and talking to more people than I can count about MPG, that is the first time I have ever had anyone make that statement. Not saying it is not true. But, the first time, interesting.

I'm not saying floor it just don't dilly dally....Saw some show years ago on this and the explanation was accelerating super slow would use more fuel over the distance to get up to speed than moderate acceleration would to get to the same speed and you could settle into light cruise faster or something of that sort. Maybe it uses the same fuel to get to that speed but your into light cruise sooner so you spend more time at the lighter throttle...(shrug) worth trying anyway.
Of course staying out of the turbos helps too...but sometimes you just gotta pay to play,
YMMV.
