Park Assist on my 21 has never been used in three years of ownership. Apparently it’s a slow process . With the 360 degree cameras it’s not something I need to get the truck parked , even the tow mirrors are good enough.

Back in 2019 I really wanted the platinum but ended up just keeping my 2012 Acura because I also really liked not having a car payment. Fast forward to 2024 and now it's time for a new vehicle.

After considering what was offered on the Lariat 502A and comparing it to the Platinum 701A, features on the base platinum like power running boards and twin power moonroof (I live in the Houston area where its too hot for a sunroof 9 months out of the year) I didn't really care about plus 502A features like HUD and the upgraded sound system were things I would enjoy and aren't even on the platinum unless you get the 702A which significantly increases the cost of an already expensive truck.

I ended up ordering the Lariat 502A with black appearance package, powerboost, 7.2 kw pro power onboard, FX4 and max tow. Came out to 10k under what a platinum would have been with those features. Got a build date for the week of 9/16 and I'm super excited!
