Is the bed aligned correctly with the cab of the truck on both sides? It sounds like the marriage didn't happen correctly at the factory. If both front and rear bumpers are out of alignment by the same amount the cab and bed will need to be adjusted on the frame of the truck.
The bed is not really aligned well. You can tell the difference where it meets the cab. The strange thing is, the side the bed is farther towards the cab edge, the wheel is farther out from the fender. It’s almost like the axle is offset…

It's a new truck and it should be right. It certainly wouldn't hurt to stop in at your dealership and have someone take a look at it, possibly their body shop guy. These trucks are never perfect but with some minor adjustments to the bed and bumpers, I would venture that it could be alot better than it is. Check out the video below starting at 2:20 these are 24's in production. you'll see the body drop or marriage, The bumpers are already bolted to the frame, then the cab and box are lowered onto the frame and they bolt it down. The 6 bolts on the bed can be loosened and the bed can be adjusted into better alignment with the cab. Good luck.

I have to accomplish some adjustments tomorrow. Can get a few more. Any particular views you would like to see?
Would you mind measuring the C-to-C distance between the U-bolts (along the width of the axle)?

And, if not located as far apart as possible with the bend in the bar, could you estimate that distance with them as far apart as possible?
Ford F-150 What did you do TO your F-150 today? 🙋🏻‍♂️ bt_5561_005_2000_6

Thanks in advance if you can manage that, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I really like how high this bar tucks-up to the frame and axle compared to the Steeda I currently have.

I not sure if the 24s are the same as mine, but the bed bolts are a one time use only. If removed to align the bed, must be replaced.

I measure the width, bracket u-bolt to u-bolt at 29 3/8”

You may be able to stretch that out about 1”

Below are two pics. The forward ends are above the leaf spring. The bar at the diff cover is about 3/8” above the lowest point of the diff.

Funny i'm seeing this. about 3 weeks ago i washed the truck and for the first time noticed my bed seemed almost flush on one side and about an inch off on the other. i thought i was losing my mind. of course the Mrs says, its not that big of a deal and noticeable...might have to get a pic and post it here. my warranty is almost out haha

Plastic bag in air intake

squirt down with simple green

hose off with garden hose set on “jet”

spray down with Mother’s Back to Black

drink a beer.

I did my jeep too. Bigger difference because it was filth

Never used it under the hood but Back to Black is good stuff. Especially on things that are already faded.

I also use 303.

Kinda depends on whatever is handy.

Thank you, sir, you're a gentleman and a scholar! (y) :)

My question goes to wondering If the spacing would allow me to use the u-bolts for an airbag setup that's compatible with my B&W Turnoverball mount to also serve for the bar-brackets (more investigation required to determine that). It'd be nice to have the bags to tweak the level of my 5th-wheel rig for varying load conditions.

I really like the looks of the BellTech bar.

Put in the Putco in-channel window deflectors today. 3 of the 4 windows went straight up and seated with no problems... the one that bounced back every time was the drivers window, the one that gets used the most . Inched it up ok, and it's baking in the sun currently. We'll see how it works after a couple days.

They do look good though.

Any updates on how you are liking these window visors?

You would think with the large RAISE UAW workers received, we would get better quality and less number of issues right from the factory....
