The tailgate one is pretty easy, it’s the grille emblem that’s much more time consuming. Still easy, just longerOrdered AMP bed step and Ford OEM rear wheel liners.
Still considering some of the BAP items eventually. Looked at instructions for the black emblems and decided it's more work than I want to do right now. ?
I used channel locks to crimp them flat and then I used the handle of a cheater bar to push the badge out. I broke both alignment pins, but otherwise the badge was intact. Which was fine by me as I planned to toss it anywaysI thought there front one was easier than the rear, despite being less straight forward to replace. With the tailgate step, it was a pain getting the metal clips off the badge. Then after that trying to get the badge unstuck from the adhesive wasn't easy, possibly due to the step too.
Sounds good. Is that the Tremor system and how annoying is the cylinder deactivation sound?Yesterday I installed a Corsa Sport exhaust. The Install went great and I am very pleased with the sound. My truck only has 1100 miles on it so the factory system came apart without any trouble. Made for a fun morning installing the system and a fun afternoon cruising around with the new exhaust tone. I will be selling the factory exhaust in the marketplace once I get some photos taken later today.
Yes it is the tremor system. I only drove it 5 mi down the freeway with the cruise control on. I didn't notice any annoying sound from the cylinder deactivation. Is that the Tremor system and how annoying is the cylinder deactivation sound?
That AMP step is outstanding. I had one on my old truck and want to add one on this one too. I have the tailgate step but this is quick and easy if you want the tailgate up.AMP BedStep with lots of cussing.
Some fluid film spraying before and after since the bracket blocks off an area I won't see again.

Poor alignment of the holes in the two piece bracket and tight spaces. I would expect the same issues with any truck. Just leave everything loose until step is attached to bracket. Once that was secure I tightened large bumper nuts and then everything else. Instructions very basic but it's not difficult to see what needs done. That AMP step is outstanding.
