Transmission failed - 500 miles

I put about 200 hard miles on my new XL in the last week. Some highway but, mostly hilly, curvy backroads with plenty of room to play with sport mode. I have to admit, the first few days took a little getting used to. The 10-speed trans is quite different than the 6-speed in my old Ram. The upshifting is less pronounced and a lot smoother. The initial awkward feel seems to have gone away as I assume both the truck and I have "learned" how my throttle foot works.
Overall, I like this truck. It's nimble, strong and very quick.

My truck has been fixed and everything is working well. Ford gave me a generous extended warranty and no cost to me which I really appreciate. Overall I’m back to loving my new truck.
