I don't remember the exact dollar amount but there was an incentive/rebate when I ordered mine of around $1,000 in November 2020. I was told by Granger (Albert) that the only incentive I could use would be whatever was available when the truck arrived. My truck arrived June 27 and I got $100. I didn't bother asking Chip what it was for, I felt lucky to get anything. Ford never offered me a PCO. I did however manage to use my Ford Farm Bureau Advantage Discount of $500 for a total of $600. Since I waited like most of you (8 mos for me) I feel like Ford should have given me (us) at least a $2,500 discount of some sort.I'm curious about everyone here that ordered from Granger. Did any of you lock in any incentives or PCOs at the time of order? I was told it wasn't possible, which contradicts the vast majority of buying experiences posted both here and other Ford forums, where dealers seem to be able to lock in almost everything.
We're you able to use the 1.9% financing offer?I don't remember the exact dollar amount but there was an incentive/rebate when I ordered mine of around $1,000 in November 2020. I shook my magic 8 ball and the outlook was not so good. How many of you guys think our R. Gebaur trucks will be delivered this week?
Actually I paid cash. Ya I'm not happy about that $1,000 incentive either, and don't they have to take delivery by a certain date? Since production seems to be taking 90+ days not sure anyone will actually be able to use it.We're you able to use the 1.9% financing offer?
I do feel like it is a slap in the face from Ford for offering that "thanks for waiting" $1000 to people who ordered after April. Especially when there are some that had been waiting as long as you.
Mine said the same thingI shook my magic 8 ball and the outlook was not so good.
Yeah, they needed to have taken delivery by 7/6. Ford knew what it was doing.Actually I paid cash. When I placed my order, I had about $4,300 available in total with incentives and a PCO, none of which were "locked in". I'm a bit frustrated that I was never able to get a solid answer from them on why it wasn't possible. It goes counter to what we're hearing from almost every other buying experience posted here.I don't remember the exact dollar amount but there was an incentive/rebate when I ordered mine of around $1,000 in November 2020. Yep I've often wondered how some seem to get "locked in" and others don't. With that being said what Granger told me was not any different from any other Ford dealers I've dealt with over the years. Either all those other posts aren't accurate, or Granger is doing something different with their ordering. While their initial pricing is fantastic, it makes me wonder if they don't lock in because it impacts their numbers somehow. I'm not calling shenanigans, but it would be nice to get a more transparent answer on why.
Back in my "research before purchase" days, I found a lot of varying info and summarized it here.Yep I've often wondered how some seem to get "locked in" and others don't. I’m going to be pissed if mine is denied. The rebate said between 4/4 to 7/6 or something like that. I asked multiple times over if I need to do anything to lock this in for my order and they said no...Yeah, they needed to have taken delivery by 7/6. Ford knew what it was doing.
Hopefully the dealer keeps their word, because the writing on the offer said that you needed to take delivery before the 6th.I’m going to be pissed if mine is denied. They extended it to 9/30Hopefully the dealer keeps their word, because the writing on the offer said that you needed to take delivery before the 6th.
From what I read, they started a new one and only for certain zip codes. They extended it to 9/30
