Transport method and time to Granger

I'm sure someone has mentioned this maybe many times, but I don't have a lot of luck with the search function here sometimes.

What is the transport method for F150s from Dearborn to Granger and how long does it typically take?

My window sticker says CONVOY, but I think I read here that convoy doesn't mean what I think it means.

I’ve seen 2 weeks seem to be the best, 1 month average. Basing this off of Dearborn builds. Ships to KC on rail and leaves on a truck from there from what I have gathered in all of my prowling.
Train to KC is like 4 days.

It goes by rail from Dearborn to KC, then gets convoyed up from KC to Granger.

-Mine left Dearborn via rail on July 22nd.
-Mine arrived in KC on July 26th and was “released” for convoy to the dealership.
-Mine STILL has not been delivered after 57 days. ?

I purchased from a dealership 30miles North of Granger and mine was shipped rail from Dearborn, did a stint somewhere in IL, then finally to a rail yard in Omaha, NB. It waited in the rail yard in Omaha for over 2 weeks before being trucked to the dealership in Boone. Interesting (but not totally surprising) that 23 miles difference between dealerships would change the rail route so drastically.

From the time Ford sends you the first email saying its awaiting shipment, can take up to 3 months, so plan accordingly. Those delivery estimates in the email are very unreliable. One of the Ford emails will say that it has shipped. From that point onwards will take 2 weeks plus

Mine took 54 days from KC. Expect the worst hope for the best.
