it's based on the rating of the tires I believe. I don't think I've ever made it over 106 or in that ballpark, but it will get there pretty quick!

There's forscan settings for speed limits -- not wise to exceed tire's indicated speeds. Police units are 120 mph, but based on some of the chases I've seen, that's well below what most modern vehicles are capable of. Watching 150mph pursuits is nuts. Without an EV battery down low and reduced suspension heights, I wouldn't take an F150 anywhere near that. I've been upper 90s in the powerboost and it's not phased by it. I've had the mach-e at 125 and though it pulls out power above 90, it too was unremarkable. CAD has made modern vehicles and high speeds uneventful affairs.

It's below 110mph due to speed limiter. The OEM tires aren't rated for high speed. I'm not sure exactly because I'm accelerating fast when it kicks in. 75-85-95-105nothing

I was headed back to Austin from Granbury (SW of Fort Worth). Pulling a empty Wells Cargo trailer having helped my son move up there. Part of Hwy 281 at the north end is 1 lane each direction but has some really long straights through ranch countryside and an occasional passing lane.

I was running 70ish and came up on 6-8 vehicles in my lane traveling slow. Straight. Clear. No intersections ahead. Dropped the hammer! I didn't realize how fast I was going as I was watching traffic, sides of the road, etc. Until I banged into the limiter about 105 as I passed the last of the vehicles (old slow pickup at the head).

I was stunned at how quickly the powerboost accelerated while dragging that trailer/parachute behind the truck. Definitely the most impressive truck I have ever owned. I could have safely made the pass at 90ish as I had plenty of room... just didn't realize the speed as the truck goes fast effortlessly.

And yes. In hindsight I was stupid. Certainly ignorant. Probably both. I check both boxes more often than I care to admit.

I just know my 3.5EB will run comfortably at the posted 85MPH on my nearby tollway, plus a tad .... beyond that I've got no interest

5.0 has no issues hitting limiter on autobahn. scary fast. 106mph is where it stops for me.

I guess I'm chicken... I crave the 0-60 or 0-80, but beyond that I get scared, my "race car", spins first three gears in normal tires but when it grabs I'm gone. I had it over 110mph once and looking back realized how dumb that was, with no airbags, or anything...

I believe it is 105 and has been for several years. But depending on speedometer accuracy you might see 106 indicated.

It's one of the reasons you can't dyno tune in 7th gear? (At near 1:1)

My F150 does the same 105 at the limiter. Now my wife’s Explorer ST doesn’t have that and I’ve had hers up to 135 racing a Subaru WRX who had no chance.
