There was 5 within 500 miles only similar one had some add on dealer options and they wanted 49 and change for it. 2.7 4x4. I think I'll stick with my Granger build. 5.0 4x4 with 3.73 gear. Dam the fuel mil errr torpedoes!

10 miles +/-

I expect to drive her home Wednesdayish...
Then leveling, tint, tires, rims, solid tonneau and Decked drawers.

But I want to put 500-1000 miles on her before I do anything just so we can get to know each other.

I passed on Power Tailgate, sliding rear window and Block Heater.
Other than that, she's FULLY loaded.

After 8-months it's almost surreal to think I'll be driving my new F150 so it doesn't even feel "real" yet.

FORD is AWESOME!
Well, it's wednesday ish. Still in rapture? I also want to know what the red stripe was for on the bottom of the dash on driver side. I've seen that in a couple of pics of various trucks. I'm hoping it's a removable safety sticker of some kind?

I did that when looking for a single cab RAM. Only ones within driving distance were long bed 2WD or dealer said it was already spoken for, or dealer wouldn’t trade with local one (and it didn’t have all features I wanted). Only single cab Fords were stripped down fleet vehicles Or customer orders Or dealers would never reply when asked.

all I know is if my salesman doesn’t start answering emails/texts/VM’s I’m gonna cancel the fricking thing and start from scratch somewhere else. I know it’s just a damned XL but dont ignore a customer who wants to add to his build and make you more money….

rant off

Doing the happy dance! (at least until it gets changed)

Got the email from from Ford just a little bit ago.

I have a Vin and a build week of 12/20.

Eleventh digit is a K so that means Kansas city I'm guessing?

Not positive but I thought I read that the V8 trucks come out of the Kansas city plant. Maybe someone can confirm.

I found the vin decoder on here after I posted and according to it kansas city. I kind of doubt it's going to be built the week of 12/20 though. That week is only four days long due to xmas then I'm guessing they will do a week of shutdown (maybe not) and come back to work on Jan 3.

Odd... I got the Bed Lights, Adaptive Cruise but I don't think "heated wheel/seats" were available...
I think "timing" matters. It might depend on Ford's "mood" at the time of your order. ..strange

That's its exactly what it was. It was gone after dealer prep.

I only have 200 street miles so far and I'm trying to baby it somewhat during break in.

Headed to the mountain top for the real test this weekend. I'll update after that.

But I do have to say... I'm SHOCKED by how damn fast this thing is! I went to pass someone yesterday, stomped on the gas pedal and if I hadn't been driving for years there's no question she would have gotten away from me.

I wasn't expecting that! Holy Fcuk!

But I was ready for it after months of reading here how people talk about how the Coyote tosses the big 4-doors around. I knew that -1000lbs in a RCSB it was going to be a monster.

Here's another question for the people that have taken delivery.

With all the new tech on these trucks has anyone bought the extended ford warranty out to 5 years bumper to bumper and if so can I be nosy and ask what it's running price wise these days?

The last several trucks I've rolled the dice and didn't get an extended warranty but new tech makes me think about it.

7 years, 70K miles $1,900.00ish.

Added 30 buck to my 0% FoMoCo loan so it was a no brainer.
The way things are going... by the time I make my last $500.00 payment... that $500.00 will be worth $200.00!

A good point my rep mentioned AFTER I purchased was "who knows where these parts are coming from."

ALL manufacturers of ANYTHING are scrambling to procure parts and NOT necessarily from the suppliers they have come to "depend" on over years of doing business!

Ziegler, FoMoCo... whatever. GET THE ESP!

Not going to get a 0% on a 22. Best I've come up with is my bank at 3%. Maybe by the time I get it there will be better deals but I doubt it. I thought 3 was pretty competitive. I haven't shopped around too much yet.

Did you have any personal cash offers from ford or the other coupon they put out? I'm really hoping I dotted my I's and crossed the t's to get the added discount on top of Grangers price.

Any regrets or I wish I had or hadn't got that?
The only "regret" I can think at this point is regret (or maybe sympathy) for your buddies who didn't buy a 5.0 RCSB Ford F150!

The RCSB isn't "luxury vehicle" like the "Platinum" (etc...) $80K Land Yachts.

It's a "TRUCK"! In the purely traditional sense of the word.

But it sure is a pleasure to drive and any "luxury" you may be missing (in my opinion) is offset by things like...
Being able to park in a normal parking space...

Turning on a dime instead of searching for an acre or two to turn your yacht around...

Telling hitch hikers "sorry, it's a two seater"...

Climbing tight, twisty, muddy, rutted mountain road switch backs without ever having to use "reverse"...

And the expense of the neck brace you'll need if you ever have a desire to stomp on the throttle!
