The flow FX might be a nice alternative to the American thunder, two chamber muffler, (40 Series) which I had on several Mustangs and was very loud especially when paired with an off-road H-pipe.
The magna flow does sound pretty good. I agree the resonator delete would make it pretty loud.
For what it’s worth the stock exhaust does get a bit louder overtime. Not magna flow louder, but better than stock.
I think so too. Quite a few of them have a very “raspy” note.
I’ve always loved Flo Masters sound with the 5.0. Having owned several Mustangs back in the day.
Many complain about the drone but to me, they have a great mellow kind of hollow V8 sound and you can get different tiers of mufflers...
2.5 years now w/ 18k as my daily driver and i’m still happy with my decision.
99% of the time it’s just me in the truck so having a crew cab wouldn’t have done much good for myself.
More than enough power, easy to park and pretty decent on gas and I tow a small boat when needed. I did end up...
OK that’s pretty interesting. I guess you do learn something new every day!
i’ve either gotten so used to it or it’s just not doing it as much, if at all any longer, but for a while there it was as described, almost every time and somewhat repeatable.
I did my 1st change at 3K and won’t do the 2nd till 10K and I’ll probably go every 5K from there on. (Easy to remember that way too).
Doing my own oil changes so it’s really a non-issue. Even though I know you can get more life out of synthetic.
I still remember the days of 3 months or every...
Anyone else experience this clicking sound from under the dash when applying pressure to the brake pedal?
Seems to only happen once at startup up or per trip should you have not applied enough pressure while shifting into gear initially at first start.
Yes it does and it seems to be pretty normal. I think I’ve come across others who have said the same thing.
this might be one of those instances where I actually agree with the dealer observation
Anyone experience or resolve an occasional click or pop sound when their brake pedal is pressed?
I can’t duplicate it on command but it does seem to do it at least once with every trip/restart.
I think others have done it successfully. But I think it would be tough if you don't weld and would have to "Frankenstein" something together in order to replace just the muffler due to the immediate bend the tail pipe takes coming out of the factory muffler.
I thought I remember seeing somewhere on the Ford website that the 6.5' bed was referred to as a "standard bed" with the 5.5' bed now taking the "short bed" namesake.
Those of us who have been around probably are still stuck just generically calling the 6.5 a "short bed".
At least when it...
Where did you get an install done at?
I'm curious what something like that would cost and if you were concerned about any issues with might be "factory warranty effecting" which is mainly my hangup.
I see they offer kits out there that include an upper control arm that might correct some...
OK I didn’t realize those were 33”plus diameter.
I was looking at 285/70/17s for myself. I mis-read 75 part of that.
Are you happy with the level or do you wish it took a little more rake out of the stance?
It seems like I can’t un-see the rake in my stock set up.
