Interesting term "linear actuator"I'm told its the linear actuator taking the slop out of the mechanism. In a way its nice on the PowerBoost. Then you KNOW when the ablative brakes are working!

That accordian like exterior implies that something within can expand/contract? Possibly making a pop noise?
I've never heard the noise on my truck, but someone with a new 2023 asked if anyone else hears a pop on the first brake pedal push each drive event.
