it was more luck than anything as I was sourcing a work vehicle I had been trying to lock in a Ram1500 because I have a few accessories to fit (smart cap, bed rails etc) and came across the XL in the dealer close to my house (It’s a 5.0 4x4 just like the.XLT). I’m currently removing all the mods (supercharger and drop kit) from the XLT as I’m probably going to sell it as I just don’t need two trucks.
The XLT is a 3/6 with airbags in the rear as they help with loads and towing and if I put a lot of air in them it will raise an inch or two.
I changed out the front grill to a plain grill but I’m switching it back soon as well.
‘No they haven't changed the doors, it’s still a bad fit but I also don’t have auto start/stop in either one so that’s a plus.

Im doing drop shackles on the XL and removing the axle blocks to give me about a 2.5” drop in the rear to level it and make it easier to load and unload. The purpose of the drop kit was purely functional as I have to load wheelchairs and lower makes it way easier.
Both trucks look great! How was the supercharger with the 4x4? I'm eventually going the SC route and only regret is not getting a 4x4 for the crazy launches.

Checking in with my single cab XL. Still want to drop the rear a bit, I've got lowering shackles for the rear, hopefully that'll even it out some until I can do a full drop.

What is everyone ordering or planning to put on their single cabs?

I ordered a single cab 4x4 short bed in race red with 301a and adaptive cruise.

Back in the day I had a 2003 lightning and that was the easiest truck to get in and out of that I've ever owned because it was lowered and two wheel drive.

I've been tossing around the idea of lowering this one just because I'm not getting any younger and it would be nice to get in and out easier. I don't plan on going four wheeling and when it snows a lot I stay home.

I wonder if lowering will mess with the electronics like the adaptive cruise and the other stuff it has?

Anybody lowered one with those options? Did it cause issues with the blis or anything? I don't want to slam it to the ground or anything like that. I see 3,5's I'm thinking just 2 and 4 keeping the correct rake on it.

I have a 2021 F150 RCSB FX4 in race red with 5.0,10 spd auto, and 3:73 gears. I just raised the front of mine 1 1/2 inches and removed spacer block from rear. Im 67 yrs old and 5-10" and it a good height for me to get in and out of. If you had a Lightning you'll love the 5.0. I have been
: offered more that what I payed for it b/c RCSB trucks are getting harder to get

Hi Thanks. I had to buy some non chrome ons and had them pain matched. The xlt is all one piece. Each letter is It’s on and i broke it all down for the painter. Still wish I could find a Ford performance to replace the xlt part but I have not yet found one I’ve liked yet.
