I have a 5.0 RCSB 4x4, lowered with a 3/5 drop. I have had 0 issues. Blis and everything work as they should, the only thing I did was adjust my headlights.

what lowering kit did you end up going with? Also what did you use to remove the 4X$ decals off the bed?

This is mine, i have a vas 3/5 drop and everything works fine. To me the 3/5 drop is perfect for these trucks.

Sharp looking truck. What wheels are those? That's probably a really good height for getting in and out of isn't it? I see pictures of different color trucks and how good they look and it makes me second guess my race red choice.
That's going to happen no matter which color you choose, kinda kicking myself for not going with Guard green.

Dodge still offers a short bed, reg cab under the Ram 1500 classic.

And I thought the ford build and price was confusing. I couldn't get the color I wanted with chrome bumpers I guess. It kept removing items when I made certain selections. I did like the anti spin rear though. Didn't say it was electronic so maybe it was old school which I would have liked.
Ended up $42000 and change but I don't know if it had a blind spot monitor and couldn't find adaptive cruise. Then the site quit responding. Too many ford guys looking?

yes, it’s the Tradesman and Express. The anti-spin in the Ram is the old school limited slip, not a manual locker like Fords. I had to school 2 dealers what model to look for in DealerConnect to order it ( DS is old gen, DT is new gen) And while Ford pricing on the website is spot on for what MSRP is, Ram denotes a “net” price whic is $3-4k under MSRP, and none of the packaging pricing is consistent. For example, one package is actually 2 rolled into one and shows a $250 discount; yet in reality it’s only $5

I always used to think slamming a 4x4 truck was a waste of a 4x4.

NOT ANYMORE!!

Damn... what a beauty!

Congratulations and NICE JOB!

I'd love to see more picts.

FORD is AWESOME!

Thanks, the wheels are from a 2020 f150. I just added 285/45 tires and the sensors works on my truck.

Decals came off easy and clean, with slight heat from a heat gun and a plastic razor to get the edge up and pulled off clean.

..anyone with the single cab xlt. How many speakers are in the truck?

Crutchfield says four but I think they are counting the tweeters in the a-pillars as two and then one in each door.

No more speakers behind the seats in the sides?

I think I even read somewhere that there is five...
Nothing behind the seats in mine, just the trim for the seat belt retractor with a hard plastic pocket.

There's just the door speakers, the a-pillar speakers and a single speaker grille in the center of the dash. So five makes sense.

There are other little speaker or mic. grilles in the headliner above the driver and above the rear view mirror that must be noise cancellation for the hands-free phone and voice command systems. I know that the speaker phone is excellent and the best I have experienced between newer Honda/Acura and Toyota cars.

I never really looked for the mic in my 15 scab but it had an excellent phone in it. People couldn't tell I was on a speaker phone at all.
