TCU Applications - Unavailable

Any pointers on why TCU applications won't be available for my VIN while they are available for a friend's VIN.

Not all updates go to all trucks.. your friends truck is a few years newer and could have different software. A lot changed in the security and program ability between 2021 and 2024.

@Fordphanatic It is not about the updates mate. I am asking about the FDRS applications available for my truck. Like I cannot even do a PMI at this point because FDRS for my VIN doesn't show me an option to do it under TCU.

What makes it more interesting is that I had a TCU Update available 2-3 days back and suddenly today it is gone along with the TCU applications on FDRS.

If there is any mismatch with the software or hardware part number it can cause the package to not show up.

Thanks @antho - nothing has been changed so not sure why there would be a mismatch. FDRS scan done by another user for my VIN did show a TCU update pending and today on my FDRS - I see no update and no TCU applications.

You can try running the "Read Vehicle Data" tool. See if that will report the TCU back to the server.

I tried that @antho - shared the output with you on PM but no luck.

Additiionally if I do a self test, I get this message:

BUMP! Any suggestions? I am on my last day of FDRS license and keen to see if I can get the TCU applications?
