Yessir ??No harm done brother!
Yes. I've probably suggested this half a dozen times or more on the forums since the paid version became a no-go.Can I go in and get the 2 month trial anymore ...?
Done! I Hope that makes it clearer. Yet me know and I can adjust if needed. ?YES, I just now renewed mine for the ump-teenth time, got the key about 20 minutes after submitting the request, no problems whatsoever.
@Big Dog Daddy, would you consider editing the thread title and your OP to make it clear that only the ANNUAL license is affected - users can get and run under the free 2-month license, and renew that when it expires, with no problem!

I'm sorry, if this thread caused confusion, it was meant for the die hard guys that use it every day for diagnostics.Yes. I've probably suggested this half a dozen times or more on the forums since the paid version became a no-go.
As a new to (soon to be) GOREScan user, what’s the difference between trial & paid version? Limitations, etc.Yes. I've probably suggested this half a dozen times or more on the forums since the paid version became a no-go.
I think you are the one who doesn't understand! I just said that I think it is a better idea to have a US made software instead of a Timbuktu made one for obvious reasons! I never said anything about being forced to use Forscan either! And your second sentence makes it sound like the software is in fact a security risk. Among all the other gibberish stuff you wrote, the last sentence is finally a half decent one! Thank you!It doesn't appear as if you understand.
Again, nobody is forcing you to use FORScan.
Security risk? Because you voluntarily use software?
No, FDRS does not offer everything that is available in FORScan, and vice versa.
What part of "you don't get to decide what product or service other people choose to offer do you NOT comprehend"? JHC!I think you are the one who doesn't understand! Been using it for over 10 years.I'm sorry, if this thread caused confusion, it was meant for the die hard guys that use it every day for diagnostics.
No difference except you don't have to renew the license every 2 months. Plus, you're money is helping support the development efforts. As a new to (soon to be) GOREScan user, what’s the difference between trial & paid version? Limitations, etc.
With that being said, I wouldn’t mind to be ahead of the truck as well, when I start using the SW. Anyone can chime in or point me in the right direction on the following question(s). Since mine was originally a CDN market designated truck, will there be any difference following the current posted FOREScan sheets for minor changes/tweaks, that I would like to make.
And back then I purchased a lifetime license, still working to this day.Been using it for over 10 years.
My current is a 3 year license. I'll limp along with renewing the 2 month if things aren't squared up when it expires. And back then I purchased a lifetime license, still working to this day.![]()
Ok brother, calm down, he has sensible replied to your comment(s), just ease up, my guy. We’re good, we are all here, learning. It’s a forum to learn and get better, learning from others knowledge. I might have some expertise in Honda/Acura, more than FORD products at my age, but you know what, I’m not an expert at working on FORD’s, learning curves can happen when you’re cross-owning vehicle brands. ??What part of "you don't get to decide what product or service other people choose to offer do you NOT comprehend"? JHC!
Me saying that you're not forced to use it is somehow a security risk? Huh?
We'll be OK, eventually this will get straightened out, I hope.My current is a 3 year license. I'll limp along with renewing the 2 month if things aren't squared up when it expires.
Copy, just didn’t know if they crossed over or didn’t, by reviewing the current spreadsheets provided within this support forum. No difference except you don't have to renew the license every 2 months. Plus, you're money is helping support the development efforts.
No difference for your CDN market vehicle relative to how the software works.
