System off to save battery message

Just started getting a message in my 21 Poweboost. When I use remote start on the sync screen I see system off to save battery

In the Ford Pass app it says it’s entered deep sleep mode

Today it’s 24 degrees outside. Is it the weather or the battery itself? What should I check??

If you still have your original battery on a 21 I would replace it and not waste your time with anything else

If you driving short distances . It will affect the battery Performance. and cold weather affects the battery . also The first year I had the truck Ford replace my battery for the same issue. Service writer told me they were having problems with some batteries they weren't holding charge

This thread is why about 4 months after purchasing the Powerboost I started regretting my decision. It's just one more thing to go wrong.
Now after 18 months of ownership, I can see the hybrid function does me no good anyways.

Sorry to hear that Tim. I purchased a new (well 650 Miles new, Cert Gold) '23 PB 18 months ago, I now have over 30,000 miles, all OEM equipment and have had only one battery starting issue. I've also left it in the garage for weeks and sometimes over two weeks at a time while travelling and no problems when returning and starting the vehicle.

I will, however, be upgrading to a Newer AGM battery when appropriate, not necessarily because of the previous battery issues discussed on this forum, but if it ever hiccups, it'll be gone. For me, one of the best vehicles I've ever owned, especially with that last hurricane in Oct....emergency electric power when I needed it.

I can see your pov. I was on the fence about this truck and have been seriously considering a lightning even more so now. Ultimately it was the battery which I got from Costco for about $180 out of the door

didn’t think that price was too bad.

Unfortunately the more technology in modern vehicles the more things that can go wrong

Noco Genius 2D. We keep all our vehicles plugged in with them when we turn the vehicles off and parked. Used to get "battery saver" messages all the time. Not once since. Has stopped us (so far, knock wood) from having to play the "frequently replace battery under warranty or out of pocket" game (which I had to do previously).

If you're still on the original battery from 21 you did better than 95% of us. Replace the battery and don't waste your time on anything else.

seems to be fixed with new battery from Costco! only $180 so cant complain too much

think I should replace the 12v battery at this point? or get a decent charger for it? I dont have the slightest clue if it needs to be replaced just feel like I should at this point in its life

4yrs 75k miles

any good recommendations on a charger or replacement 12v?
