I bought the truck ‘Gold Certified’ it had <500 miles, purchaser couldn’t pay up I guess. I bought the extended warranty about a year later…however, I can honestly say with 40k+, it has been basically flawless, couldn’t be happier 😊
Now I’m going to knock on some wood…🤣
No, my truck is reg in FL. I was going to use my Daughters address in NC but wound up with Ziegler, slightly more but tired of the hassle.
a friend had Endurance, had a complete tranny failure, the paid it all except for deductibles…I still preferred Ziegler…
Thanks JJ, It could be the OTA, not sure myself. It's always been changing by at least 10-15% on MTE ever since I've had it...just chucked it off to my driving styles....besides, that number is not one that I watch a lot. Cheers and good luck!
Yes, mine changes consistently as much as a hundred miles or so depending on driving (40K miles). Has your fuel gage been consistent? I usually gas up based on my fuel gage, not necessarily MTE since I've never trusted the MTE to begin with, accurate or not....Cheers!
Bugs, yep, another hazard of driving. Been dealing with Love Bugs in FL for decades, just more effort to keep the car clean and free of those nasty critters. I usually rinse the car off when home from any trip where there were extensive bugs, love bugs especially. Rinsing immediately usually...
In July, 2023, purchased a '23 Lariat (PB) loaded with 600+ miles on it, a personal order that was returned to the dealer, for whatever reason and sold as a Gold Standard. Florida has a lot of hurricanes and the PB was desirable. I have since purchased a Ford extended warranty. I had two...
"Conspiracy theory"....Yep, he sure does get a lot of attention...either way, to me it's totally subjective. However, I usually buy from reputable dealers like Sunoco and Costco, both top tier in my area.
This is apparently a common ploy by ALL dealerships. I continually have to fight off the salespeople who still want my '19 Toyota Highlander V-6. I expect the local Ford dealer to approach me next.
Good luck with those batteries ? I have 32K on my '23 PB and with the exception of two battery issues in the first 5K, I've been quite happy for the time being, NO ISSUES. Since I haven't been plagued with issues so far, I plan to put two new ones in probably within the year, my expense.....a...
I received one of the notices the other day, stopped by my Ford dealership and was told, so far really has not been an issue but if it were to fail, it'll be fixed. Besides, if its up to 150K Miles and/or 15 years, I'm thinking its probably not a real big issue I need to worry about now....Cheers!
Almost two years on the original OEM batteries (30,000+ miles) and still going strong, no glitches so far....fingers crossed. However, it they do fail, I will purchase quality batteries from one of the many recommendations from members on this site....Cheers
I flew in the Intruder community for 20 years up to and during the time it was being phased out. I still kept in touch with some of my former buds that transitioned to the F-18 and then on to the F-35...The few I still talk with say their comrades absolutely love flying the F-35. Sure, there...
Failue? Au Contraire!
F-14 just got waaaay to expensive to fly and maintain, not to mention the ROE these weenies concocted would never let the F-14 use its Phoenix system to the max, ie, beyond visual range.
New Lariat PB in July 2023, 32,000 miles and with the exception of two initial electrical (battery) issues, been great, in fact flawless. To this day I still have the OEM batteries that came with it and have not had ONE problem (knocking on wood). Used it during the hurricane last year and...
