I followed this idea from the Bronco Sport thread:
https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/anyone-try-a-different-battery-brand.9861/post-172594
Followed this exactly on my Bronco Sport, UTV, and two other vehicles using the Noco Genius 2D, a Noco GCP1, and 6 ft extension cord.
With...
6 vehicles (and 1 UTV) all on a Noco 2D. All batteries at least 2 yrs old (some much older). No issues whatsoever with any of the Ford batteries (4) or other brands (the other 3, which includes the UTV). Multiple issues with Ford's batteries on a vehicle I no longer have where I didn't go the...
On my Noco 2D, Noco 5, and Noco 10 the lights get to a pulsing green and then when that last phase finishes it turns and stays solid green. Maybe Noco changed the status LEDs recently (my units are about 2 years old)?
Noco 2D for the win. Not just for lead acid. Also for AGM and gel batteries. I have one on each and every one of my vehicles. Not a single Ford battery-related issue. Not one.

So much nice space! That's an impressive building.
So Ford clearly supports (and no doubt mandates) RTW? No (or little) remote work allowed? Good on 'em!
GREAT write-up. Thank you.
Is the anti-theft mount you mention below the $60 add-on that Savage UTV sells with the mount? (See my screenshot, below.) If not, what? TIA
As mentioned above by @ginosega wrt to his Hyundai, this isn't strictly a Ford problem. IIRC, a number of other manufacturers are having similar problems.
Doesn't help the OP's situation, though. Glad everyone is safe.
Wish I could buy w/o a sunroof, but sadly it all comes down to packages....
I bought a Tremor in AMB. Frankly, I think that is the best color for a Tremor. Hands down as the blue/orange color combo really works for me (OMMV). But as you say, it often looks black. It's only in the bright sun where the AMB truly shines and struts its stuff.
So if I hadn't gotten a...
I followed this install using the Noco 2D:
https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/anyone-try-a-different-battery-brand.9861/post-172594
I did it as shown to 3 of my vehicles (terminating in the Noco GCP1 as shown in the link photos). For the two that have steel bumpers (to include my...
Nope. Not a fan.
And as I've said on a few other forums..., just wait, in-dash ads are sure to be coming. And then we'll get the Amazon Kindle "no ads" option where we will have to pay Ford to turn off the ads.
And then, my next prediction is Ford trying to convince us that subscriptions are...
Bought a set of these Maxzina vent covers off of Amazon. Very nice, reasonable price.
One QC issue: each is supposed to have two pieces of 3m tape. However, one of the vent covers had only one. Simple fix with the 3m tape I had. Other than that nice item.
Maybe it's not a big deal, but I stick with Motorcraft b/c they are the only ones I've found that have the manufactured date printed on the product bag.
Meaning, how do you know if you're not getting a sensor that is already 5-years into its 10-year life (yes, I know the sensor is sleeping, but...

According to this news post, this was the SECOND time the chick who was arrested was involved in a similar road rage incident!
Set it up and then test it out w/o sticking it on anywhere. I have mine mounted behind the gas door on my Bronco and it fits/works perfectly (I have one for my Ranger and it's on the door and doesn't look bad at all).
If I were to get one for my F-150 (I already have the B-pillar version) I'd...
Okay, here's my (perhaps uninformed) take having looked at the window sticker. TBH, my 23 Tremor would love this for a step-brother! Virtually identical to what I have. They would be "fraternal twins." Would look great side by side in the driveway. And it would match the 2023 Azure Grey Ranger...
I looked into this some time ago and the answer kept coming up F-250.
I could have made an F-150 work but never could get the gross weight down enough. So it was either get the camper set-up I wanted or get the truck I wanted (I wanted an F-150 at the time). So the truck won and the camper idea...
Wow! The responses in this forum about this topic are light years more respectful than a good percentage of the responses over at Bronco6g!
Nice work, folks!

I would guess it says "12v" b/c it's a 12v system and Ford didn't want to pay to produce "12v Reset" flaps/lid covers?
Things like this are why I have a Brother label maker and label cassettes of various widths and colors!
