That's a strong sign it's the IWE issue. If you enter all your symptoms into ChatGPT or Grok and then tell it what you did to make the noise go away, it will likely tell you the same thing. I used Grok to help figure out how to get Ford to address the issue in terms of "scoping" the wheel with the electronic ears vs. hoping it made the sound on a random test drive.

Thanks for the heads up. It’ll be nice to have a direction to send the dealer when the time comes. I thought the “max tow” axle bolt finally happened to me this morning lol.

Yes, be super specific and mention the IWE and scoping the wheel well with the chasis ears. First dealer didn't give a damn and didn't want to even try unless they heard it in person instead of multiple videos I made of the noise. Second dealer did exactly what I asked and found it right away. Grok was key...it even predicted the behavior of the first dealer without me telling it that they made no effort previously. It also told me that it was a powertrain warranty item and don't let dealer try to charge me since I was under extended and powertrain warranty still. I've found Ai to be really helpful in diagnosing issues.

I had the left front wheel bearing replaced and the problem is resolved. Just a status update.

Not the IWE? I still need to get mine in. Been doing it for 2 years but every time I have made an appointment it stopped doing it for a couple months. Now it pretty much won't go away.
